He likes draping, colors and lace. He is “anti-trend”.
He is in luck. Nothing here is trending
It’s Grandma time! Miss Andrea is 58 and proud of it! She has classic age-appropriate style with just a dash of funky, an impressive background and education in fashion including being a professor and I am loving her.
Wait, is this what aging gracefully looks like? I had forgotten
Sonjia is the first African American anime character I have seen. Also she is grateful for this opportunity, has ADD and is downright adorable. Having blue hair doesn’t get her any camera time though and I predict her landing in the middle of the pack.
“Let’s ride bikes!”
Next we meet Fabio who has styled himself in the vein of Hip Terrorist. He is the closest so far to interesting/compelling backstory – growing up in Brazil listening to his seamstress Grandmother’s sewing machine lulling him to sleep every night. He also eats out of dumpsters.

Don’t let these people cloud your judgement, Tim
He gives us the usual rundown of who PR is whoring out to this season – HP again for tablets they are all forced to sketch on, L’Oreal Paris for hair and makeup and this season has Lord and Taylor for the “snatch and grab wall”. These are corporations quite easy to Google so I will spare you any further promotion. The big news is that the challenge is to create a “companion” piece for the look they brought. This piece will wear a little harness and a sign that says “working fashion, please do not pet”.
Winner winner chicken dinner
As we already know they will be unveiling their looks on a runway in Times Square in front of a huge live audience. There is a day to complete the second look and a $100 budget to spend at our favorite warehouse of flammability – Mood! Everyone scrambles around as usual and Raul is disappointed that $100 doesn’t buy a lot of lace.
On the bright side, he always knows which restroom he’s supposed to use
