   Wow–have been watching the re-runs since yesterday–I didnt miss Kim D at all–I actually have a physical reaction to her–one of revulsion. I have it with Brad Pitt, Tom Cruise, Aviva’s father.

   OK– and to my comments!!!!! Dino Chicken Nuggets rule—I keep them in the freezer for when my nephews come over and Mr Cawfee and I happily partake in them too.

   Awesome job ChickyB—–I agree–Tre had no pre-knowledge of this at all. She is no actress and could not pull it off. It was a professional hit by BRAVO. How they found this out about Mel I dont know, but Kim D insinuated her vile self into the situation and happily gives the news.

   Tiny Caro—she’s huge. The aging process-only a few years in time we are seeing her scares me–I am 47 right now and if she is any measuring stick, I will need some plastic surgery in a few years. Thank God I moisturize and stay out of the sun. She calls herself “bull dog” and I see those jowls!!!!

   Albie–Lordy—how contrived is this whole set-up???? Poor girl–get your face time and RUN–Tiny and Lauren the Lapband are the most insulting, ungracious bitches going.

   I was happy to see Nick–my fave squishy baby–and his snappy hat. Jax kept her distance party b/c of Nick-may be too stimulating for him and to give Mel and Tre a little room with each other. Was not so sure either what kind of message Mel was giving telling her son that b/c he’s a boy he should shoot the girls. He will be a pleasure to date at 16 I am sure.

   I think the fact that Pete Guidice was at the fashion show shows Tre’s innocence in all this. She needs an ally there—and well…a ride home from this debacle.

   This has been one loooooooooong season—and AssHat leaving mid-point hasn’t hastened the ending. The reunion is going to be a blood bath and I can’t wait.

   I love the irony of these people acting like stripping (or bartending/dancing/whatever it was) is the WORST thing you could do for money. Have they ever watched themselves on tv? At least strippers *work* for their money.

   Teresa could had stopped it? How? did she even knew that this guy was going to be at the Fashion Show. I am sure that the production company made 100% sure that this guy was well hidden until all the ladies were seating together.
   Teresa is a veteran so I think she thought that the set up was at the hair salon, she maybe thought that they were setting her up to listen to the guy and talk badly about Melissa but she didn’t felt for it, she might have even been proud of herself for not falling for it.
   Angelo came from behind Teresa and he only said, remember me? and Melissa said yes and he left, what was so horrific about that until this point, a big nothing.
   The funny part was that this was no set up, everybody has been talking forever about Melissa just for working at Lookers, so this was no news at all. This big set up would had been if they would had brough Danielle to “talk” with Melissa about all the secrets she revealed about Teresa, now that would had been juicy, “dancer”? please.
   If the production team would have been more proffesional and not forged personal relationships with the Gorgas and the others, they probably would have gone for it instead of this pitiful attempt to make Teresa look horribly.
   To me all the others were in the set up, the other housewives, the production team, Bravo, the Kims, Peggy, Angelo, Sheilla, all of them. The only one who was truly set up as she has been time and time again this season is dumb Teresa.

   Ugh, the Kims. They are both interchangeable all right. They are both ancient ancient women who think they are gorgeous twenty-five year olds and act and dress accordingly. I’ve seen old hookers look better (and act with more grace and class) than those two skanky grandmas. Aging gracefully. Look it up. :[

    Is it just me or was the following obviously way over scripted…”Mel is saying she and Ter are in such a great place, she can’t imagine anything hurting their relationship again.” IMO, that statement alone screams MeGore’s/MeHore’s involvement in all of this.

    I don’t think Ter can act that well either. She seemed genuinely upset with that guy, and eww what a freaking dirty greasy piece of crap. I can’t stand the Kims too. They are obvious fame whores, even more so than the women that do these shows on a regular basis. I live close to the area Posche is in, happened across it one day recently. What a run down strip mall.

    Also there’s nothing wrong with having been a stripper in the past (I wasn’t, I just don’t judge). It’s not like she was hooking or something. If she lied about it, and hid it from her husband, I could see him being mad over that, but why should anyone else care?? I really hope most people realize Jersey is not like how these idiots portray it.

    Can’t believe I’m gonna say this…. But I’m on Teresa’s side – SO FAR. I agree that she was probably set up. I don’t think that I have ever, in all the seasons she’s been on, seen her speechless like she was at the salon. Now, it’s very likely that she was more upset about the fact that she was being set up than the information herself. But it was all just too perfect – this skeezy guy comes out of nowhere, Kim D looks like the cat that swallowed the canary and can’t stop asking questions and giggling, then suddenly – at the show – all the housewives except Teresa get simultaneous texts from some “Friend” about Teresa setting up Melissa? Uh-uh. How she handles herself next week will be the big test as to whether or not she had any inkling this was coming and how she feels about it. And this could totally backfire on the Manzo/Gorga/Laurita faction by giving Teresa the underdog, everyone is picking on me and ganging up against me vote. The only one that so far looks completely innocent in this is Kat – but no one ever tells her what’s going on anyway. She’s like the fifth wheel of the Housewives just waiting to be included by the cool kids.

    And for the record, I’m not a Teresa fan. But I’m also not a Caro, Mel, Jack or Kat fan either. I like the gay guy.

    What crap. We all know fashion show was the first filming of the this season, yet ends up at the end of the season. None of it makes sense especially the talking heads. Andy I am disgusted you think we are this stupid as to not see the manipulation.

    Yep to all the above comments. Tre was set up by Bravo and we’ll likely never know the truth because Bravo will continue to edit things to fit the story line they’re selling and Tre is employed by Bravo so the most she could do is accuse another cast member, not the network.

    A few weeks ago on WWHL Tre laughingly said something at the end about ‘maybe I’M being set up, right?’ and looked at Andy and he responded earnestly, ‘not by me.’ this was several episodes ago so at the time it was a non sequitur but now it seems strange that he felt the need to earnestly respond to something that was sort of a half joke.

    My theory:

    Before Mel ever got on the show she and Tre had a contentious but cordial relationship, with the two of them throwing passive aggressive digs at eachother because they were competing with one another. I do believe MeGo probably picked up some of Teresa’s mannerisms and ‘fabulous’ over the top style (not that theres anything wrong with that) and Teresa as a result started calling her a copy cat. When Tre got on the show Mel probably thought she could film a few scenes with Tre and become famous by association and maybe Tre said no, angering Melissa and Joey. From what I’ve heard Mel auditioned several times and was turned down until she auditioned and said she’d ‘take Tre down’. During this time she also reached out to Danielle and fed her info about Tre which is what led to Tre’s freak out at the season 2 reunion. Teresa didn’t know they were joining the show until contracts were signed which put her on her guard about their intentions and this is probaby why she came off as a huge jealous, suspicious asshole in season 3. In season 4 she decided to try to make up with them to get closer with her brother (and because the rest of he cast had turned on her). Melissa, I think, prob heard about the set up before hand and let it go down knowing she’d blame Tre. The Kim’s are supposedly sisters in law so maybe the ‘friend’ that told Jac about the set up was Kim G (who she is admittedly still close with and spent the nite before the fashion show with).

    There’s just no reason for Tre to set up Melissa now, at this point, Melissa and Kathy were her only allies on the show, how would it benefit Tre to try to expose Mel now?

    Not saying Tre is perfect or even above all this it just doesn’t seem to be her m.o. With everything else she puts it out there, the cook book digs, the insults, etc are all to people’s faces. If anything, this convoluted scheme seems more like something melissa would do since we know she contacted Danielle with the intent to harm Teresa’s rep.

    Just my two cents. This all could change when we see what happens next week

    Lauren – This was the first thing filmed for the season. Why wouldn’t Tre want to take her down in the beginning of the season?

    Where did you hear that? I thought the PFS was last August after the RV trip and all that and the next day they filmed the season 3 reunion?

    Why would they have all been friendly all season then if this was the first thing filmed?

    Tre didn’t have to be acting. If they told her about right when she showed up to shoot that scene. And that she had to do it. Just in case she might pull her mike off and run out hollering. Which would waste $.

    I still think Duck Lips Kim found the guy. And then Bravo took it from there. Not that they’d be above finding him. Just that why would they pay somebody to research up dirt? Since Duck Lips was willing to do it for a chance to get on tv again.

    I think Kim D took a page out of Melissa’s book to get on the show. They brought on Melissa when supposedly she claimed to want to take down Tre. So here is Kim D willing to take down Melissa. Pathetic all of them.

    Ok Gasmii, I don’t think Tre knew before hand. I actually think Danielle had a lot of hand in this. She has a lot of reason to spite all of these women and who better to dig up this crap than her and her thug friends???

    I mean really, think about that. She’s like Kathryn Willows in CSI, she might be out of the game but you still know the players and how to get the dirt. Danielle is a OG stripper, she can get that info is she asked the right people. Maybe her stint at Rick’s had something to do with payment for the information. Someone rats out Mel (and Jac) and she has to sign on to strip…and get the Bravo buy in.

    Dunno, I am a true conspiracy theorist so that’s where my mind goes. I mean the entire thing was staged so the only question is, who was behind it.

    @ 11 Metal Mandi– good point—And do we know how Mel and Joe met?? could have been when she was working at a strip club. I dont judge her for it either. If she did, she made a ton of money I’d think. Good for her.

    We need to really get a concrete time-line. We know that this season and the prior are intermeshed—-just check out the TH’s–the clothes switch seasons and Tiny’s hair color is a good indicator.

    Lab– I thought this season began filming a couple of months (or maybe not that long) after the previous one. That Reunion was filmed (cue dramatic music) “the day after the Posche Fashion Show”. This current season began filing figure June. I think these chicks have been filming for ten months straight. DAMN– that is alot of film.

    That’s what I’ve heard as well Hot Cawfee, seasons 3 and 4 were filmed back to back which IMHO was a terrible idea. The women were probably reacting to seeing season 3 air during season 4 filming but couldn’t adress it directly which added to the animosity but only confused the audience

    I said the same thing about the last season of RHOC, you can tell from Vicki’s fall themed party and where they picked up.

    I think they film back to back and mix in the different franchises so we don’t get the stuck on summer on RHONJ every cycle for instance.

    CHICKBOMB….you rule.

    Here’s where I think they messed up – from what I understand, the point in them continuing to film season 4 after season 3 was to start showing season 4 in the fall of last year, since, for some reason, the NJ franchise was on fire at the time. Dunno why they didn’t do this, because by waiting til THIS year, the Posche fashion show has been pretty much talked about to death. I remember reading about it not long after it happened because everybody’s Twitter blew up and entertainment sites were picking up on it. So I’m kinda bummed. This is turning out anti-climatic. Guess that’s what I get for being so nosy.

    And I’m still not 100% sure who set up who other than Kim D. is a given.

    I never thought I’d miss Danielle’s crazy ass but I do.

    This show is now beyond repulsive. What wife walks behind her husband cocking her moronic head and smiling wow and the fat daughter walks with daddy. Yes, the daughter is getting fat.
    Katfish is a laugh and that sick sick pervert of a husband should not be allowed on the show and not near children. Jax has to be home not running around. She has a sick child. Teresa has to work to make money so the bills can be paid. Skank Mel and Melvin need to go. You can’t keep putting the blame on everyone else. Her music and dancing both stink.
    There is no more story line. Mandy Cohen ruined the show.

    I remember hearing that they went right from Season three into season four filming. Assuming it takes a few months after the end of one season to start running the episodes and set up the reunion, the timing works.

    Great recap as always better then the show. Caro and Lurch should write a book about raising self starter , hard working and grateful children. All these people are such a joy to watch. Caro, children have over come so much to be this successful really neat people. Caro and her highly world beater nothing will stop me daughter need that PR dude for there soon to fail Cake face place. If not for the recaps , these people are to stupid to live. PR guy and strip club something can’t be a real person if he was he would be Joe bobbies drinking/driving buddy.     Yeah, I’m on the Not-A-Fan-Of-Tre-But-Think-She-Got -Set up train as well. I know some pretty low down stuff has happened on these “Real” housewife shows like naked wasted Gretchy and making oil/water people vacation together but this really takes the cake. Producers, PRODUCERS! involving cast members in a sleezy scheme to take down another cast member. AND, all the guilty parties acting all incensed when the set upon person says, “Maybe I was set up.”
    I’m glad that producer Pat was fired but really Andy Cohen? Really? That’s pretty fucking low. Why down you just throw gasoline on Tre and have the perfect Manzo/Laurita/Gorgas toss matches at her? Or, stone her? Or, how ’bout a Mel and Tre jello wrastling match?
    I personally hope Tre gets her fambly out of debt and succeeds and continues to make them seethe. She fell ass backwards into fame and money but for her kid’s sake I hope she can hold onto it.
    I hope BLK fails miserably and Catface closes after 9 months after the looky-lo’s have come by and decided, “Meh, what a stupid idea.” And, Midge takes a bath on that fabulous mansion with the recording studio he built for Mel. Asslee can come home and do PR for her singing career.
    Oh, I forgot Kathy. -yawn-
    Speaking of PR. What spa has a PR person? I swear these people are so full of themselves!

    I’m with kthxbai. If you read the blogs and their twitter pages (which I do sometimes) someone will point out how funky someone was to somebody and the response is usually “there were things behind the scenes you don’t know about.” They did it with Danielle. Caroline is doing it with the Tre/St. Dina alliance. “Stuff you don’t know about.” How come we don’t know about it? That’s my question. Didnt’ know Kim D was trashin’ on Joe G’s business until last week and they’re all “been hearin’ Kim saying stuff.” Kim calls. “Been sayin’ stuff. Sowwy.”

    TELL IT! GAWD! SO WE CAN STILL WATCH THIS!

    Allegedly Caro wasn’t mad about THE COOKBOOK, she was mad over Tre involving herself in her fight with Dina and the Cookbook was just an excuse to hate on her. Again I say…she picked the wrong insult to bitch about. But anyway.

    I figured it had to be more than the stupid COOKBOOK. Thought it was Punta Cana and maybe DonCaro thought Tre didn’t fully appreciate with the little princes had done in her defense. But, they couldn’t mention it on the show since there’s legal stuff involved. But, I could see if she felt Tre had wedged herself in between her and Dina. God only knows what the truth is.

    I didn’t remember Kim D being on there earlier in the season. It seemed to me that the bit about her making comments about Joe G’s business was new. I was a bit confused and thought it was weird that they were bringing a new story line up so late in the season. It seemed out of the blue. But, it makes sense that she would have to apologize to Mel about it if their little plan were to work out. She’s still a skeezy ho.

    Wow, this show. I think I just can’t even watch it anymore. Nothing about it is amusing, it’s just ugly. I really don’t believe Tre had no idea, I think she knew but when confronted with in person it was overwhelming. She knew, she knew she knew.
    And she never stood up for her SIL, that is the worst. Tre is the worst.
    And if Mel stripped, who cares. She’s a good Mom now, (a dippy broad, but loves her kids) who cares!!!!
    The whole thing was gross.
    And does Kim look like one fo those creatures from teh Dark Crystal or is it just me?

    I’m thinking the problems between Caro and Tre go back to little things that have added up over the years. First there was this – she apologized. Then she did that or said this or her husband said or did this – okay we will let that slide as well. Add to it Dina is/was her best friend. Maybe she did somethings to Dina and Dina ran to Caroline to complain about it. They are sisters and Dina probably confided a lot to Caroline in the beginning.

    Dina seems like quite the shit stirrer herself. Who doesn’t get the fathers signature approving his daughter being filmed?
