   My French rots, and even I could tell Lu’s French sucked. From now on, I vow to refer to her only as Luanne, since it’s such a back-woods, okie/gomer name, and therefore truly befits her.

   Also … isn’t she now legally divorced? So (since you’re such an “honest” girl …) how about dropping the “Countess” bit in any form, and going back to yer non-French, non-historically-relevant maiden name?

   I really wonder why Carole doesn’t have interns..she has face that looks like Steve Tyler..I really started disliking her “I am so better than Yo all” attitude..towards the end of the show…
   but the one I can’t stand the most ( after Ram..mona) is Aviva..she is such a bitch and she and her father are real white trash! She said her mother had a drinking problem..well who wouldn’t having George for a husband and Aviva for a daughter…really who does Aviva really think she is? Her father is one turd as is her and her husband..

   Sabotage?? They sabotaged her and Reid? I find the use of that term ridiculously out of proportion. Isn’t sabotage intended to bring about harm or destructions. Isn’t sabotage used more appropriately in the era of kings and queens and war and power?
   This is just another example of Avivia blowing something so grossly out of proportion so as to be the victim which she plays quite well.
   Sabotage…..really?

   I went to a bitchy uppity all girls school ..and Aviva reminds me of the bitch teacher I hated the most ..we use to call her Miss Manners…Aviva scolds people when she speaks..
   Back to Carol ..did anyone catch Carol rolling her eyes at Sonja when she said that she had to sell her French house?
   Am I the only one that wishes they would get a whole new cast..these women and their stories are boring..been there done that..this show needs new “ladies”
   BTW if you google Reid..he is no prince..but he is Fran Dresser’s cousin…wow………..

   I watch this show to be entertained. There is hateful entertaining, there is disgusting entertaining and psychoentertaining. Aviva is hateful, disgusting and psycho, but NOT entertaining. To think she got paid for her behavior this season really makes it sickening. Its easy to “apologize” AFTER she gets such a negative reaction because she isn’t sorry, she’s just doing what she thinks will keep her in the fans good graces. That makes her a hypocrite and doubly disgusting and deceitful. Her father is neither cute nor entertaining ass she seems to think. Please spare us her sob stories about her leg, ad nauseum. BRAVE please get both of these losers off the show! And dont bring Jill back either!

    I think Lu (she loves it when I call her that) is trying to start her own version of the “Village People”. You have the Countess, the Princess, the Indian and the Pirate (argh!). I wonder who she’ll be next season?
    And I noticed that the band (Stumblebums?) must be physic – I WANT TO FUCK YOU UP THE ASS!!!!

    Hell yeah – full circle indeed. Did you see Lu on WWHL? Andy wouldn’t let the pirate thing go and the poll showed 80 something percent didn’t believe Lu’s story. Go figure.

    Heehee– I am Irish–and “Ride home” means sex. Am on to you Lu (she loves when we call her that)–I saw that Catwalk of Guilt you tired and hungover self had. Been there many times myself–whipping up a shower, make-up and fabulous so no (like the parents Cawfee) could see how hungover (and shameful) I was.

    HOLLA to who ever called out Lu’s wretched French—I think she sounds like the Swedish Chef myself. She is so pretentious and a true believer of her own BS.

    @ 1 HolyT– am with you on that–as an American living in America -as is Lu(-she loves when we call her that) a European title should be dropped. Carole out ranks her tho-I still chuckle about that.

    @4 TVJunie– I think Carole is one of those people who doesn’t cook or eat properly or take care of herself, Her wardrobe is dreadful and at her age-bad habits will tell on you. I am a little younger than she-and I have to work on my skin etc.

    I believe Lu had her Tomas time. And Lady Morgan did as well. Smart (and sexy J) Sonja to say nice things about her ex. I think he keeps her on a tight leash and is looking to get her to remove “Morgan” from all her legal documents.

    @BSL, you know I enjoyed your recaps and live tweeting the episodes this season, but I think you missed my favorite moment of the reunion: when Ramona referred to Miss Andy as “whatever” instead of calling him the flaming homo we all know him to be. Butt Sex SonJa may not be homophobic, but Ramona might think that Miss Andy’s gayness is catching. I’m not sure if I could handle any lost footage, but please tell me you’ll be recapping Atlanta this season.

    I did a turnaround this season. I wasn’t too keen on Heather early on and liked Carole. I ended up being a Heather fan and finding Carole kind of annoying. I thought the fingerless gloves were a pretentious affectation and she needs to get a new gig. The “I lost my wealthy husband tragically young” thing is getting old.

    I think she got off easy with the St. Barth’s stuff. Everything was going well and everyone was having fun acting like people on vacay. That was until Adiva and Reid showed up. Then the shizz hit the fan. Carole couldn’t have predicted that the peg leg wonder was going to flip her wig when everyone didn’t stop having fun to cater to her phobias and neuroses. BUT, as the hostess she should have had the balls to pull Adiva aside and set her straight. Carole knew Ramonja didn’t really want Reid to go to a hotel. They just didn’t want a male presence to curb their fun. She knew Adiva was overreacting and had upset the previously tranquil apple cart.

    Think back to Scary Island last season when Shill Zarin showed up unannounced. Everyone’s nerves were pretty frayed from Kelly’s freak out when she showed up. But, Ramona stepped up and saw the inappropriateness of the situation and told Jill that she needed to leave. She wasn’t invited and she was upsetting people. You can call Ramona a lot of things but she did do her duty as a hostess when she saw how upset her invited guests were by Jill’s presence.

    Did we ever figure out if Carole really has a big pile of $? I know that celebrity net worth thing says Anthony had $50 million.

    But do we know if she got it? Or how much $50 million was $ and how much was like art or lands or something. Because sometimes with people’s stuck up relatives it can be confusing. There can be $ and stuff and even lands that go back to the family. Even if it has to be a cousin or whatever. Whether they’re deposed or not. It’s 1 of those things where laws about it can get complicated. Depending on where the stuff is etc.

    Not that I think she’s broke. Or even rich people broke. But I’m suspicious that she’s not all that rich. And did the show to sell more books. Including the tell all I bet she’ll write about doing the show.

    You are correct.. the Gray Gardens ladies are the Aunt and cousin of Carol’s husband. Carol’s husband ‘s mother was Lee R. ..Jackie O’s sister and the Gray Garden’s woman were lee and jackie’s aunt. I think that the big money from Carol’s husband came from the father’s ( he was a real prince) side of the family.

    Quick Wiki search. The Grey Gardens ladies are Jackie and Lee’s aunt and cousin on their father’s side.
    Big Edie got cut out of her father’s will when she showed up at her son’s wedding dressed as an opera star and her husband gave her only child support, no alimony, when he divorced her.
    I have to find the documentary on them somewhere. That was some crazy shizz going on in that house!

    Grey Gardens is one of my fav documentaries evah! I love Little Edie…she’s endearing in her eccentricity.

    “Father got a Mexican divorce. We don’t recognize that.”

    Basically, women of high society weren’t meant to go out to clubs and parties. But Big Edie wanted to be a singer and so she hired a male accompanist take her around and perform…which was a big no no! So, she ended up disowned and when Lil Edie’s courtship with Robert Kennedy fell through and other failures, she left NYC and joined her mom at Grey Gardens where the grand home slowly decayed around them.

    The Radziwill’s lost their fortune during WWII. Anthony’s father (who was a Polish prince) left Poland and became a British citizen therefore giving up the title of prince. Lee was always needing money and going to Jackie for help (check of Jackie’s will) . Anthony did not have 50 million, he had to work for a living and Jackie left him and his sister 500,000. each in her will. If he had 50 million his mother would not have had to go to her sister to get money. Anthony probably made a nice salary while he was working and I would guess left Carole a nice insurance policy. I don’t say she is broke but she does need money, thus coming on the show to hawk her books and get the Bravo salary.

    The best and most frequently used methods of the uber rich to transfer wealth is through insurance policies. There are limitations that can be put on policies, especially if they are in trust form however. It’s a way to “pull the puppet strings from the grave” as they say. Just a random factoid….

    @BSL..I am pretty sure that there is only one Gray Gardens…I got it from Blockbusters online…my husband started to watch it with me and walked out of the room after 20 min.s..it is a chick “flick”….I might repost the LXTV Open House NYC (above) since it seems no one has checked this site in a few days….
