Mo’Rum asks Ginger about his injured face, and tells him not to hit himself. Ginger once again asks where they stand, and Mo’Rum once again says they’re having fun while refusing to give a straight answer. She does apologize for being confusing, though, so that’s nice of her I guess. She give a vague answer about not wanting to get sick of him and needing “a day or two here and there” while Ginger says he won’t do anything with anyone else.
“What are these ‘feelings’ of which you speak? Is it similar to how when my booze is gone, I have the sensation that I am empty somehow?”
Mo’Rum tells him to stop hurting himself, and he agrees. She says that she needs to control her drinking and maybe he should do the same. He says it’s a matter of controlling himself when he’s drunk… although not getting as drunk would also help, genius.
Grandpa and Captain Needy discuss Ginger’s issues and Needy explains that it’s impossible to understand unless you’ve been in “that mental state.” I wonder if Grandpa remembers “accidentally” reading Needy’s journal and how he probably thought THAT would be his biggest problem this season. Needy brings up Mo’Rum, but Grandpa thinks there are other issues at play. Something tells me Ginger is too private to let us in on those, which is a shame because this is TV, dammit, and we want to know!
He goes on to say that it pisses him off when Ginger lets Mo’Rum walk all over him. Hilariously, RomCom walks in during this part of the discussion for her
validation goodnight hug. He reluctantly hugs her while whining about a “gross” eyelash she left in his bed, which makes her laugh for some reason.
“I am the one who walks!”
Captain Needy thinks that even when Mo’Rum doesn’t treat Ginger right, he just likes that sometimes she makes him feel special. Grandpa says she’s just not that into him. Hey Grandpa, back in the middle ages when you were in school, did you learn about the meaning of parallel in math class? Anyway, apparently he’s overheard Mo’Rum telling her friends she doesn’t want to fall for a “tall goofy ginger kid.” Needy thinks she has feelings for him, but he is more concerned with Ginger’s self-inflicted pain.
Next: Did Latoya and Swift hook up?! Apparently not on camera, so the world may never know.
Has Captain Needy grown on anyone else? Do you think the two romantic situations in the house are as similar as the roommates think they are? Is anyone else sad/concerned after seeing that side of Ginger? Does anyone else think Ginger looks like Seth Green ate one of those Nintendo mushrooms that doubles Mario and Luigi in size?
