Carnival is so amazing that even Grandpa is having fun with RomCom. Swift and Max bro out like crazy while Latoya tells us that Mo’Rum should have been worried about Swift taking her man all along. Ha! Another truth bomb from Latoya, and another stealth gay joke about Swift.
Mo’Rum and Latoya run into each other at Carnival and promptly make up because they just can’t be mad at each other. Latoya proudly declares that she didn’t hang out with Max while Mo’Rum tells us that they’re both stubborn people. Basically, after an hour apart, they’re “besties” again because (according to Mo’Rum) they’re “like Frick and Frack… Lucy and Ethel… you can’t come between us.” They hug approximately seventeen times and then dance off into the night together.
They can dance if they want to. They can leave Ginger behind. ‘Cause Ginger don’t dance, and if he don’t dance, then he’s no friend of mine.
Out at their favorite day drinking spot, Señor Frogs, Captain Needy has decided that he’s “back, baby!” He’s allowing himself to drink again, and he’s “partying like a rock star, just not getting out of control.”
… because rock stars are so well-known for staying in control.
He then leads a conga line around the bar while the soundtrack plays us some music that wants to seem hardcore as much as Captain Needy does. It’s a strange combo. He decides that if he can keep his drinking in moderation, he’s just awesome. We’ll see how that goes.
We then watch Ginger and Mo’Rum play around in the rain for awhile before cuddling up in bed together. So I guess things are suddenly just peaches and cream, hunky-dory there?
Next: Grandpa decides to have Chelsea come visit, much to RomCom’s dismay. Ugh, spare me. And Captain Needy fails a drug test. Should be a fun one!
Was it just me, or was everyone at least mildly tolerable this week? Mo’Rum wasn’t great, but no one hit a new low, at least, which is a first for this season. Do you think Mo’Rum will be nicer to Ginger from now on? He reminds me so much of Dustin. They’re both nice guys with huge hearts but a lot of issues. One big difference, though, is that at least Teacup was nice to Dustin. Did you really think Mo’Rum and Latoya could stay mad at each other? Are you dreading the inevitable Grandpa/RomCom drama surrounding Chelsea’s visit? Or are you just counting down the days until the Challenge? (It’s soon, Gasmii!)
