Which Lucy is apparently confusing with a microphone.
Cindy’s having her photoshoot, in which both Scott and Kristin are included. Kristin again shares that on “her” birthday night she felt very disrespected. You know what? I feel disrespected every time she opens her mouth. Scott, alert as ever, senses that something’s wrong. When Cindy asks the two of them to pose together, Kristin shares it’s really hard for her to smile. Cindy says Kristin doesn’t look happy, and Kristin responds “maybe I’m not”. Kristin, instead of trying to be a nanny, you need a nanny. Preferably one who believes in corporal punishment. Every child we’ve seen on this show exhibits more maturity than you, dear.
We’re back with the “big talk” between Kristin and Scott. She makes him sit while she stands. Psych 101 dominance. She tells Scott – AGAIN – that she feels very disrespected, and he should have said what he did at the party, in private. She says “I have all these other nannies saying if Scott doesn’t respect her why do I have to”. What other nannies? Scott says from where he was sitting “I just wanted it all to stop” and felt it was best to address her directly. Again Kristin uses the “didn’t have my back” complaint. Does she ever read? Isn’t it possible for her to learn even onedifferent phrase? Scott says he spoke up for everyone, wasn’t taking anyone’s side.
If you’re paying attention, you’ll note that this is the exact same expression she has in the photo earlier. Because this is the only expression she EVER has.
Then Her Royal Highness shoots back “I’m asking you to remember what I just gave you. I got you this job”. No, you delusional harpy, you got him an interview. Scott says he “earned this on my own time”, that he’s grateful for the referral but “I’ve had to work for this”. He goes on to say he’s sorry if her feelings were hurt, but he had to speak up. Bitchface then says “I think this whole conversation is really not sinking in with you. You’re not even apologizing –” Scott says “I did say that I’m sorry I hurt you but because I spoke up? No.” And I applaud. BF shares she won’t let Scott ruin her business (don’t worry, you’re doing just fine yourself) and goes on to say “that could have been the thing that’s ruining it all for me right now”.
Thankfully, we cut to the Greek Cathedral. It’s not in BH, it’s in a neighborhood that (logically) used to have a sizeable Greek population. Now it’s part Greek and part Hispanic, a nice neighborhood with some good restaurants too. The Cathedral is beautiful. They have a Greek Fair every year, and this year’s is this weekend. If you’re in LA, check it out. $3 admission and a TON of wonderful food, etc. They also have guided tours of the Cathedral, run by a priest who (at least the last time) sort of lectures you with an aim to conversion, I guess. I’m going this weekend, and I hope I run into Heif!
