Over at Heif’s place, Justin and Lindsay show up. Heif fake-complains but you can tell she’s pleased they showed up. At first Justin is hanging with the adults, but then he sees Amanda trying to wrangle 9 kids, and ends up working for free, saying it’s his worst day ever. Cheer up. You could have been working with Kristin.
Meanwhile, Kristin is going to Jenny and Brian’s place, and she’s loaded for bear, sharing she’s “livid. How dare you fire one of my nannies”. So professional of Kristin to get all the facts before rushing to judgment. You know, like a real businessperson would. Jenny and Brian start to explain what’s wrong with Drunky, that she doesn’t want to be a nanny, and so on. Then they talk about the “alcohol factor”, as Brian phrases it. Jenny recounts the dinner.
Kristin then says, “That makes me so mad. I came over and I was angry with you for how it had gone down. (That’s tactful). Now I’m like (Drunky) seriously you’re making me look like a fool”. As I’ve said 10000 times in this season, you’re doing a fine job yourself, Kristin. Kristin says it “ruins my character (character? HAHAHAHAHAH) as a nanny agent and makes me question her loyalty as a friend”. Jenny says you can’t drink in that situation. And then Kristin says, on national television, “I told her a million times that [alcohol] was my number one concern”.
Jenny shares if Kristin already knew Drunky was – well, Drunky – why was she ever sent there, and clearly Kristin “has a lot to learn about mixing business and friendship”. And also has a lot to learn about mixing liquors – remember a couple of weeks ago? Aloud, she says she doesn’t mess around when it comes to her kids “and this is a word of mouth business and the media . . . Facebook and Twitter . . . if I was a far more vindictive person something like this would take down the business”. OK, you do realize you’re on national television too, right? Kristin says she now realizes Drunky was a huge risk she shouldn’t have taken, and she hopes they’ll let her place someone else. Brian says she was so far off the mark with Drunky, they don’t even know where to go from here. Jenny says they’ll let Kristin know.
Over at Drunky’s house, Kristin comes over, they discuss the convo, and Drunky refutes every allegation about her drinking. In her defense, back when I was drinking I really had no idea how much, and if you’d asked I would have said oh, one or 2 drinks. So Drunky isn’t a liar, she just needs help. Kristin has no empathy, makes no effort to get her supposed BFF some help, and instead says she has to side with the family, says Jenny was “one second” away from posting a tweet (it’s called TWEETING, and no she wasn’t. You’re lying again) and she – wait for it – has to “have their back”. AAAAAAARRRRRRRGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! That, Gasmii, was the sound of me going totally postal.
