Let’s look at the evidence of Drunky’s “one drink”:
Mr. “Jose Cuervo” sent this over to you, miss.
Just getting my hair out of the way so it doesn’t fall into my drink. Drinks.
I think of champagne as a palate cleanser.
Are you drinking that? I’ll just finish it then.
Woo! Is it hot in here or is it the booze?
Just a little
sip of gulp of vodka should cool me right down.
All my pretties in a row.
You’re firing me before I can finish my drinks?
Kristin leaves and takes the time to share that she can’t continue the friendship until Drunky realizes how important the business is to her. Whatever.
Go get some coffee, or a soda, or – in honor of Drunky – a cocktail, cause it’s time now for the Reunion!
Subtitled Nannies Tell All, the Reunion is hosted by Ross Matthews. Ross introduces “Inside ABC Family” reporters – well, not reporters – television personalities? – Amanda Bowman and Dalia Ganz and says they’ll be covering what people have been saying about the show. That got my attention. Could it be? Could they actually intend to quote from our Gasmii? Nope. They’re going to quote from Twitter and Facebook. Oh, the boringsites. Right.
Ross was a good choice. A fan, but doesn’t let that stop him from asking hard questions. Well done, sir!
All the nannies are there, including Shayla and Shaun who always surprise me when they show up in a scene. I always stop and think, are you inthis show? Kristin is wearing something like that getup she wore at the roof party, with hideous heavy black shoes that appear to be laced halfway up her legs and is showing everything except her actual veejayjay. Klassy to the end!
I think we’re supposed to be on this soundstage, right?
Ross starts out by quoting hourly salaries for nurses (peanuts), college professors (peanuts plus a soda) and nuclear physicists (peanuts, soda and a candy bar) and asks if nannies really make $40 an hour. Lucy says when she was on salary, she made $100 an hour. We all know that’s not true. She probably made $100 a day but our Lucy is always so confused, isn’t she? Or maybe she was paid in 100 pennies. That seems about right. Pennies are shiny. Ross asks about their biggest perks. Amanda once flew with her employers’ dogs in a private jet. Lucy asks if she was scared of being alone in a jet. OK, Lucy does know that jets have, oh, crews? And it wasn’t a 747, it was probably a Gulfstream? Does she actually think Amanda was roaming around a huge airplane looking for Sully? Ah Lucy. Never change. (And you know she won’t). Justin says Lindsay just took him to the Bahamas. Score!
Wasn’t it scary to fly up in that big empty sky?
