Hair and makeup? Fastfoward while pondering wtf garbage can Unibrow went through to find this outfit:
When you shop in dumpsters, probably don’t dig through the ones outside asylums
The final fitting is not a happy time and Tara is freaking. It is apparent that Dmitry is friends with and supportive of her as he laments not having any time to help her out. Skunk kind of stands around and gawks at her panic. Then Sonjia falls apart when her model is totally unable to get into the dress. She is collapsed on the table sobbing and Elena is already by her side wrenching the aneorexic model into a dress that won’t close in the back. Elena may have been a megabitch during the team challenge, but she is being very sweet today. Skunk maintains his voyeur position.
Skunkward Scissormouth enjoys the defeat of his enemies
I would consider this all the normal workroom histrionics except it looks like Tim comes in and calls time while Elena is completely still sewing the zipper closed and Sonjia has taken a pair of scissors to the hem. Tara too has a half-nude model and they run out with basically negative ten seconds to spare. Tim notices Sonjia’s lack of composure and works his Tim Gunn magic to calm her and it is both sweet and heartbreaking seeing her so vulnerable.
Tim Gunn will hunt down and destroy whatever has hurt you
Runway time! Heidi comes out in another furry piece of shit strapless dress. This one is in red and was found on Jessica Rabbit’s cast-off rack.
“I like the way it makes my armpits itch!”
The guest judge this week is (appropriately!?!) the President of Lord & Taylor. I’m not really sure what this title means as most large companies have a number of “President” roles and we are not told anything more detailed. Maybe she is the president of the makeup counter on Tuesdays.
“My executive assistant is a bottle of Windex!”
Unibrow – His dress is flattering and wearable. Also dull as dishwater. The only hint of design is the back reverse halter straps. Also his interminable exposed zipper. I think commenters have already pointed out that this design detail is overused and certainly he is a constant offender. Previous remarks aside, I find his look totally unremarkable. His dumpster flower garland is more interesting to look at.
Tara – Her dress is different and architectural, which I love, but pretty impractical with it’s backlessness and side-boob potential.
Skunk – He has boring dress #2 with a black lacy mini. He is so proud of this dress he already envisions it in the L&T window, but I’m wishing he had stuck with the matador theme and given us some much-needed crazy.
