Putting an end to that unpleasantness, Ana and Marysol arrive, and Romain thanks Marysol for her Tweet. This universe is ridiculous. The ladies are followed closely by Lea and Elaine, who are too old to find the entrance. Also, Elaine’s outfit is terrible, and not in the good way. Her skirt belongs at a wedding reception and her top belongs on an acid trip. I couldn’t find any pictures, though. When they enter, Lisa interviews, “Shoot me if I’m at a club at the age of 40.” Where are you going to find your second husband, then?
Joanna’s all kinds of fired up, so she asks Marysol point blank about Marysol’s participation in the Black’s Annual Gala, and Marysol says that the event was far too disorganized to dirty the Patton Group’s paws. Lea looks like she overhears that and interviews that Marysol’s spouting bullshit out of every orifice. The Patton Group was not INVITED to be a part of the Black Gala.
THEN Joanna decides that the Elaine/Marysol drama needs to be resolved like, right this second, so she screams, “ELAINE!!!!” and the drag queen comes a’runnin’. Joanna “I don’t cause drama” Krupa interviews that when she drinks, she shitstirs. End of story. Ha!
That’s hypocrisy you can take to the bank.
It took me several rewatches to find out just what the hell was happening or had happened between Marysol and Elaine, but I think I got it. On the day of last year’s Black Gala, Elaine attended another party, the PR of which was also handled by the Patton Group. At said event, s/he was denied red carpet because of the wishes of the client. Elaine seems to think that it was at the Black Gala that s/he was denied red carpet. Marysol tries to clear everything up, explaining that nothing was personal, but it’s clear that Elaine isn’t really having it. Not a fan of Elaine, I gotta say. Oh, and Lea interviews randomly that if she has to reveal what “really happened,” in order to defend herself, she will. Uh, what?
Once Joanna’s foray into Model U.N. is finished, it’s time for us to see some of that classy, classy Model Citizenship. She’s busy dancing wasted when she spots Marta’s ex-boyfriend. We cut to an incredibly uncomfortable scene in which Adriana is literally draping herself all over Romain, telling him he needs a little chocolate in his life. THEN Joanna pours herself downstairs and she is a HOT TRANNY MESS if I’ve ever seen one. She starts screaming and crying in Romain’s face that she “HATES him!” and “NOBODY MESSES WITH MY SISTER!” Everyone tries to calm her down/understand what she’s saying, but no one is successful. I tried to find something, anything in that segment that would paint Joanna in a favorable light, but I came up empty. She got wasted, berated her boyfriend in front of their friends on one of the biggest nights of his life, and made absolutely no sense.
