Nolan is in a state of flux throughout the whole episode. He is trying to attend to NolCorp and the impending audit with the help of Padma who pulls her back for her one scene to show how smart she is. Hoping they do something interesting with her and pull her out of puppydog mode soon.
Meanwhile, Nolan is also clearing out of Emily’s place as well, which is kind of a weird little thing that’s still happening. Wouldn’t he want his own place anyway? Even if he has a crush on Emily or wants to be BFF’s or whatever? No dude wants to live with a friend if he doesn’t have to.

Not a bad room Nols, but c’mon – you’re young! Get out there and mingle!
Victoria is preparing for her big press conference, sequestering the entire family to the house. Emily arrives and is told to keep her distance from the family – for her own safety of course. Yeah, good luck with that one, Vic.
Aiden arrives at the motel with Whitey’s key. He searches the place but finds nothing until he sees the “central air” sign and searches the vent, where he finds the bombed plane’s black box (which is orange for some reason). On his way out, who should he run into but Mom, who runs the place. He gives her a fake cop name, but she calls the station and finds out he’s lying.
Emily and Amanda are checking out the baby’s room. Pretty drab space. This poor baby. Emily gives Amanda a fake journal from Dad as a “gift” for Charlotte. The journal has shady info on Victoria. Once again sister Charlotte is being used by Emily.
Nolan tells Emily that he couldn’t get any info off Whitey’s cell except for his home number, which will come in handy. Padma walks in and them and is bummed out.

Not what it looks like, Pads!
Time for the obligatory Emily/Jack scene so we remember that they are meant to be together…or something. Anyone still care about the Jack/Emily relationship at this point?

“Remember when we almost got it on? No? Me neither.”
And now time for obligatory Victoria/Conrad scene so we remember how money and power corrupt and destroy love. She tells him to keep out of her designated area of the mansion and that she will be leaving him for good by the end of summer. Conrad sneers and smirks as usual.
Just down the lane Nolan enters Emily’s and is promptly attacked by Aiden. Well, she did ask him to leave, didn’t she? He goes upstairs to pack. Aiden tells her about the flight recorder and tells her he’s not the enemy.
We get a flashback of them together back in Japan. They make out and plan to leave together to save his sister, but then he bailed on her. Yeah, she might be a little pissed off, Aiden, ya dumbass.
If you like it, spread it!:

no, no, declan CAN’T be the sunken body, because fauxmanda needs to be!!! and if not her, then ashley. declan is more useless than annoying.
as much as i do still like the show and don’t plan on not watching anytime soon, i’m thinking the first season was better. it’s getting a bit too weird right now, and not in a good way.
and this is because it didn’t subscribe me last time — and, damn it, i will be subscribed now that it’s finally sending e-mail notifications out again!
All flight recorders/black boxes are actually orange. Makes them easier to find in the wreckage.
I don’t get all the hate for Fauxmanda?? I like her, and I like her with Jack because I HATE Emily with Jack. They have very little chemistry. Jack is actually very boring, and I can’t see what Emily finds so fascinating about him. Especially now HOT Aiden is in the picture.
I thought the sunken body had a manly arm and watch, but I WISH it was Ashley. She’s still the worst.
I think it might be that guy that Declan is robbing things with…… It was a manly looking arm but it could be fauxmanda’s. I don’t think that arm looked like Ashley’s though. Not her skin color and too big. Her arms are super slender. Now Fauxmanda has manly arms.
@lovingrevenge — i don’t know about others, but i personally dislike fauxmanda because she is so desperate to be liked/have something in her life that it’s pathetic.
@elle most people want to be like. I don’t think that makes her pathetic at all, it makes her vulnerable. And frankly makes Emily comes off mean for using her for it.
@lovingrevenge — i don’t disagree that most people want to be liked, but she still comes across as pathetic, like she’s trying too hard.
i don’t know if that’s why other people find her annoying, but that’s why i do.
it’s also why i find ashley annoying — she tries too hard to be something she’s not, and she also comes across as pathetic as a result. she’ll always be the former assistant, even if she cons daniel into marrying her (even though i doubt the writers will do that). no one is going to respect her as having any power or being a true part of hamptoms society, and that happens all the time in reality with former assistants.
I also find Fauxmanda annoying…not as bad as Ashley, but annoying none the less.
I want Jack and Emily to get together so bad. I want him to know that Emily is actually the real Amanda and they can adopt a dog and call him “Sammy Dos” and then they can sail off into the sunset.
I don’t like Fauxmanda. She is willing to pass off a baby on Jack that is not his and that alone makes her horrible. Or at least she thinks it is not his.
I really like Charlotte and Declan when both of them are not being stupid. I also want Jack and Emily together.
Am I the only person who still has hope for Emily and Daniel? Or at least liked entertaining the thought he would turn out to be the sweet guy who was trying to seperate himself from his crazy family? Maybe that’s just wishful thinking.
Not a big fan of Fauxmanda either but I agree that she’s just really sad and vulnerable. She is, after all, totally living her life based off of what Emily tells her.
theres no way declan ACTUALLY left his ID while robbing the place. the revenge writers are not that lazy.
two possibilities:
1. his co-thief planted the ID there to blame declan for all past/future crimes
2. his co-thief planted the ID there and the guy who came by with it is also in on the crime spree. it was just a test to see if declan would rat on his partner. and he passed, so maybe they’ll bring him in on some bigger stuff.
regardless of all that, i didn’t like the looks of that guy or the way he was looking at jack’s bar.
Fauxmanda was quick to push Emily around when Emily was the only one with anything to lose. Paybacks are tough.
Loved this show last year. This year its starting to remind me of Prison Break… Once the premise is exhausted in year one, the writers start scrambling and coming up with more and more absurd twists and reversals
