Voting time! To be serious for a moment (HA!) – what is up with all these party-like board meetings and receptions and skeet shooting festivals? Attending these things is like a full time job, never mind the time that must go into putting together all these outfits. No wonder Victoria is a little cranky.

She wisely chose mourning black
Salvador lets it be known he is voting with Daniel. Tough titty, Mom and Pop. Victoria is sad because that means the Initiative will have their claws in him and he will be a pawn, just as Conrad was…which, huh? As a high ranking member of Grayson Global wouldn’t he be a pawn anyway? As their son, wouldn’t they be in control of him anyway? And what kind of control do they have over this anyway (huh, Jessi? Righhht?)? They can blow up your plane? Can’t anyone do that if they really want to? The Initiative – ugh. Amirite?
After the vote, making him CEO, Daniel immediately douches out by officially cutting Aiden out of the company, releasing him from involvement in the company in any way. Dick move, bro. That will bite you in the ass in 3, 2, 1…

That’s just rude.
In Stowawayland, Matt Duncan is attacked by the Skeevy Brothers, although they don’t really make it clear why. Do they know he shot their Dad? Or just suspicious? Then why are they after Jack and Declan? Or are they really going to kill everyone that knew Papa Carl, which is what it seemed like at the end, but that’s pretty ridiculous, right? Everyone in that phone book? HAHAHAHA! Oh jeez, this plot. OY!
At NolCorp, Padma tells Nolan that they are now officially a subsidiary of Grayson Global. Once again, Nolan has stayed true to Emily Amanda Thorne Clarke and put himself in the crosshairs. But he has a plan! He asks Padma if she remembers him asking if she would prove herself for him because it’s time. Oh and it looks like Marco will be returning to the company. I hope he and Padma wrestle!
Emily and Aiden are alone, in front of the fire, still in love. They are shaking their heads over all the craziness going on around them, never mind that they are the cause of a large part of it. Emily asks if he thinks that people like them can ever be happy and at peace. He tells her that when he is with her he is happy, he is at peace. Sniff.

I mean, c’mon. How cute are they?
In the final montage – Ashley packs up, Jack finds the hidden gun, Daniel erases Ashley, looks at Emily pics, and then grabs an ominous handful of ice cubes. Lastly, Victoria calls Emily from her balcony. She has a proposition for her…
If you like it, spread it!:

Thank you for recapping this so well! The Greyson Global and Stowaway storylines are so ridiculous to me right now that I have a hard time focusing on them. I miss the days of one by one revenge with Emily’s big red sharpie X-ing out faces. I’m actually not that sad that it’s going on a break. Maybe they’ll refocus on what made the show great to begin with. Also, it IS totally bizarre that “Amanda” is now the sole voice of reason. Are we just ok with the fact that she’s a murderous psycho now?
ditto to everything Jessi (^^ comment) said.
This show will not be missed while on break. It would have been better if they had hinted more at who dies on the boat or something else more cliff-hanger-y. It has gotten a little too confusing to really follow. I don’t really care about the Initiative and they have already lost me if they related to Emily/Amanda. It would have been a great transition to switch to Aiden and his own revenge plot/story. Plus, he is hot. Because at this point it seems like they were only planning for one season but it got popular so they tried to expand it into multiple seasons.
i, too, miss the days of simpler revenge, and to be honest, i don’t love human-emily. i preferred her as a well-oiled revenge machine. my hope is that aiden shows himself as a traitor and that launches her full-back into her mission. it would be glorious.
