Revenge Recap: UNION!

I don’t know if I could have been happier with this week’s episode.  Sorry guys, but I felt the last episode dragged so badly and was so pointless, I was getting a little sad about the state of our REVENGE.  But just like life, things actually happen when you least expect it.  And boy oh boy – did things happen.  The strange thing is that Emily had very little to do with any of it.  But at this point, who cares.  Sisters were doin’ it for themselves!  

We begin with a flashback. Of course we do. Daddy Clarke is there. Baby Sammy is there and he is ador-able! Wasn’t it full grown in the other flashbacks? Maybe he had some work done (leave the dog alone, Victoria!). Aw, and here comes Amanda and Jack in their improvised wedding costumes. It’s their wedding day!  Cute. And sad. I love the way the show will occasionally pull out the sympathy card for their lost love. You can’t have it both ways, show!

It is good to see they have kept the same young Amanda, but wasn’t too sure about young Jack – too tall maybe?

Back to life, back to reality – Ems and Nolan have a quick recap conversation. Aiden has disappeared after his fight with Ems over his sister. Oh, and BTW – Conrad is planning on taking over the shorefront after taking over half of the Stowaway (sigh). OH – and Nolan is officiating Fauxmanda and Jack’s wedding. Too funny.

Needless to say, Emily is a bit perturbed over all of these developments. Emily reads Fauxmanda the riot act for aligning with Conrad and taking his money. Why didn’t they come to her? Faux says they wanted to keep it in the family, which is PRETTY hilarious. Ems is like “Conrad is not your family, gurl. Do not forget who you really are. You better check yo’self!” Seriously, Conrad should never be an option.

The magical checkbook appears and a new check is written to reverse the bar deal. Not sure it will be that easy considering Lizard King Conrad (I say that lovingly) already has plans drawn up for a new Hamptons waterfront mall. I think I saw a Target, a K Mart, AND a Kohl’s up in there!

Aiden waits for Nolan in his office, giving him a scare. He demands that Nolan pull up the video of his sister and find any clues of when and where it was filmed. Nolan tells him it was years, not days ago and it was in Jersey City. Oh Jersey City, you always get the short end of the stick, don’t you?

FLASHBACK! David calls Victoria from jail – begging her to help him. He’s been wronged! She turns her back on him and present day Vic gets a little more motivation to stand up to Helen Crowley and the big bad Initiative. Time to throw down!
