Revenge Recap: UNION!

Faux and Jack have a little talk about the money situation and Jack begrudgingly decides to accept the money and pay Conrad back – with interest (cause that’ll really make the difference). Good luck with that, Simple Jack!

Jack, never go full…

Victoria storms into Conrad’s office with figurative guns-a-blazing. She wants all the correspondence they had with the Initiative during the David Clarke scandal so she can show it to Daniel before he gets in any deeper. You guys, serious question – deeper into what, exactly? Buying up companies for the Initiative? Which means what exactly? It still doesn’t quite make sense, does it?

Yeah, good to see you, Ash.  See yourself out.

Aiden arrives at the Jersey City warehouse with Emily close behind. It is not quite the reunion she was hoping for to say the least. Aiden needs to pull it together here, donchathink? Dude, sorry about your sister but you’ve known she wasn’t “safe” for years. Why are you taking it out on the woman who’s been emotionally (financially?) supporting you? Stop being a dick.

Simple Jack arrives at Conrad’s lair and hands him the check (plus interest!). Henchwoman Ashley tells him the deal has changed and the plans are revealed! There’s the K Mart! All that is missing is an evil “MWA-HA-HA-HA” laugh coming from Conrad. “It’s mine! All mine!!” Backed into a corner, Jack makes the wise (not really) decision to straight up threaten Conrad. “I got buddies down at da wharf and dey won’t move dose bulldozers for nothin’!” Conrad doesn’t seem to take this seriously. Shocker!

Leave me, silly boy!  MWA-HA-HA!

Aiden and Emily have made it to the coroner’s office where they are searching the files for Aiden’s sister. Unfortunately they find her. Not cool, Initiative. Not cool!

Nolan has come to a realization. The only reason Padma has lied to him, betrayed him, and has been secretly working for the Initiative must be because someone she loves must being held captive as well! This is a cute theory and shows just how much Nolan loves the love. He just wants to be loved, people! Let it be so!

So he takes the gamble and confronts the once mousy, now almost vampy Padma. She plays it cool but they leave the surely bugged office to have some real talk on the street. Although isn’t the Initiative EVERYWHERE? Isn’t Helen in her magical, heat-seeking limo around the corner? Anyway, Nolan has done his research and when confronted Padma admits the Inish has kidnapped her father and forced her to secure the Carrion program. The take away is – Padma is a good girl! She really loves Nolan! We shall see…

Kinda dug Evil Padma

Meanwhile (this is about the point when this episode started galloping along at quite a nice pace IMHO) Fauxmanda has put on her badass panties after hearing that Conrad turned down the payment for the bar. She goes to Emily’s, heads straight to the understair hiding place and pulls out the laptop holding all of the hidden video. She cracks the password (INFINITY – duh!) and finds the footage of Vic, Whitey, and Conrad being eeeevil. Go Faux, go Faux! G-g-g-go, go Faux!

Sorry Connie, ain’t gonna happen

hey, man, jersey city is awesome these days. i’m looking into moving there, myself!

i think the kid who played jack was a different kid — i don’t think he even looked that much like the old little jack? also, doesn’t “old little jack” sound weird?

i’m over the fauxmanda-and-jack thing. i stopped caring whether they got married and adopted five kids from tanzania, departed forever, or took up shop in detroit. just … they’re boring. kinda glad they got their stupid wedding out of the way.

i’ve read on other sites and facebook that people seem to think it is fauxmanda’s body on the boat (and i know a couple of commenters here said the same thing), but i’m not sure? she might still come in handy in alliance with emily, no? i think a ryan brother makes more sense, since their storyline is pretty much spent now.

Pretty sure it’s a Ryan brother on the boat. Fauxmanda is too awesome to get rid of, and this show never actually gets rid of awesome characters even if it wants us to think it has (helloooo Vicki!) Also, I loved the seaglass necklace and thought the whole beach wedding was adorable, even if Jack is in delusion land. It would be nice if he died on the boat. In other news, I totally also thought of 80s soaps when Aiden showed up randomly on the beach!

I will love you forever for Simple Jack. You make my face rain.

Anyone else loathing these video captcha codes?

I’d be shocked if it wasn’t a Ryan on the boat, I’m also desperately hoping that it’s Jack. Love him & Ems 1st season, oh how things have changed. You just know Amanda will have to save them & get them back to land because Jack is pretty much useless.
