Dr. Mom is snapped back to the NOW by Aaron saying “We can’t tell them, right?” Dr. Mom doesn’t know what he is talking about. “The Pendant” Aaron says. “People will kill for it. The fewer people that know, the better.” I smell a Miles/Aaron sword fight…
Xnay on the endentpay
Charlie and Miles, with Nora in tow show up.
Ok. Dr. Mom, back off
Nora gives Dr. Mom and Aaron the once-over and says “THIS is who is going up against the Militia?”
Aaron retorts “We are STANDING right here?!!?” Charlie tells Dr. Mom that Danny is close, within a day’s journey. So… the Motley Crew moves on.
As they crew passes through an abandoned amusement park, which… I googled it, there aren’t really any amusement parks on the way from Lowell, Indiana to Noblesville, Indiana… there is one that is relatively NEAR the beaten path, so I’ll let it go.
They are in an abandon amusement park after dark and they hear a strange noise. When they check it out, they see a bunch of dogs eating a deer.
Special Guest Star: Fake Deer
It’s the same fake deer from Episode #2. Glad to see that fake deer got a 2 episode deal. Sweet.
The wild dogs are snarling and growling…
Oh wait, those are MY dogs

Miles yells “RUN!”
The dogs chase them and Miles and a Pekinese get into a Samurai Sword fight.
Bring it, bitch
The humans manage to climb a fence, Aaron bringing up the rear and he gets caught by a dog on the fence and Dr. Mom grabs Charlie’s bow and shoots the dog attacking Aaron.
Back off! There’s only room for one rabid beast and that’s Aaron
Back in BoringStoryLineLand, Danny is being carted along (seriously, make this little f’er walk,) and says with about as much feeling as a fence Post
Danny
“You didn’t feel the shift in the air. We should find shelter.” There does appear to be a storm forming.
Coincidence?
Cut to Rachel doodling the Darma Initiative Logo in a notebook, Monroe comes in and she hides her notebook. He asks her if she is well. Rachel tells Monroe that she can’t sleep and he has never slept well “here.” She wants to know what Monroe wants and Monroe replies “What I always want.” (probably a BJ)
Wanna “fall asleep” on this?
Monroe goes on to ask “What was Ben working on? Rachel replies that Ben was an Algebra teacher. Monroe says “Then why was he working for the Department of Defense? Why did Ben call Miles to tell him the power was going out 5 seconds before it happened? Ben knew why the lights went out and knew how to turn them back on.” Rachel is all – I don’t know what you are talking about. Monroe asks “Haven’t I been a good host? I did so out of respect for our friendship.” He then calls “Sergeant Strauss” in – who brings a set of nasty looking tools with him.
I apologize, but I’m going to have to get Medieval on you
If you like it, spread it!:

I am glad someone else feels this way about this show. Wonderful recap. I agree, it would have been a much better twist to kill off Charlie and let Dr. Mom live; Dr. Mom’s story line had potential. Ah well…
Thank you for the Dharma shout out, thought the same thing when I saw Juliet, did I say Juliet, I meant Rachel with the Dharma illustration. Wonder who her constant is in this show? Probably not Miles.
Dr. Mom was my fave character, her an Aaron the only reason why I was still watching this boring crap. She is dead, so I am out.
unfortunately, i think charlie is supposed to be the emotional heart of this story. however, i think she is the least compelling character and one of the weakest actors in the show. i love aaron and miles, and like dr. mom ok. i think this show is beyond silly, but there’s enough interest in the flashbacks for me to stay tuned. and i could watch miles sword fight every episode (at least they’re getting their money’s worth from all those sword fighting lessons!).
thanks for recapping
Chicken Man is the only reason I’m still watching.
