Revolution Ep 4 Recap Auntie Em! Auntie Em!

Yeeehaw!  The dogs are back.

Got any Scooby Snacks?

The crew takes refuge in a diner… but Maggie is missing.  Jesse Fonda has her at knife point and stabs her in the leg and then runs off to bang a someone other than Sandra Bullock.

That’ll leave a mark

Miles gets to her and brings her into the diner.  Dr. Mom tells him, Jesse Fonda stabbed her because she killed his dog.  Fair swap.  Whiney limey for a vicious dog- seems like a fair trade.  Dr. Mom quickly goes on webmd.com and diagnoses herself with a severed artery.  She is bleeding out.

Where is a roll of duck tape when you need one?

Neville demands to know how Danny got out of his handcuffs.  Danny is all like- you aren’t the boss of me.  Neville tells Danny that he likes Danny and he reminds him of his own son. Wooden and useless?  He asks Danny is he (Neville) is so different than Ben?

Danny is like “My Dad didn’t KILL people and hurt them like they are nothing!!!”  Tears.

Neville explains, after the blackout there was so much panic and mayhem.  If Ben held it together during that time, he’s a better man than Neville is.

Back at the diner, the crew is wondering how they will get OUT of the diner with angry dogs outside. Miles, of course, will take care of it. They will, simply, go up to the roof, find Jesse Fonda and have him call off his dogs. Because I’m sure it will be just that easy.

Charlie is tending to Dr. Mom, and Dr. Mom tells her they should leave her there. They should go and find Danny- he is so close. Charlie says “No! We will find him, all of us, together.” She continues on to say, she knows she hasn’t been easy, but Dr. Mom has always been there for Charlie. Dr. Mom was kind, giving and annoying- so Charlie just wants to give Dr. Mom a “taste of her own medicine.” They are all going to stay together.

Dr. Mom is losing too much blood, they must perform surgery. Dr. Mom directs Charlie to a sewing needle in her pack and, conveniently, some medical clamps. She tells Charlie that she has to sterilize everything- and advises Charlie that she thinks Miles has some whiskey in his pack. When Charlie rummages through his pack, he is grabbed from behind through the pick-up window into the diner’s kitchen.

Flo!  Pick-up!!

Back in Boresville, the tornado seems to have passed, to which Neville yells “AMEN!” And right on cue the roof collapses, trapping Neville beneath some debris.

I am glad someone else feels this way about this show. Wonderful recap. I agree, it would have been a much better twist to kill off Charlie and let Dr. Mom live; Dr. Mom’s story line had potential. Ah well…
Thank you for the Dharma shout out, thought the same thing when I saw Juliet, did I say Juliet, I meant Rachel with the Dharma illustration. Wonder who her constant is in this show? Probably not Miles.

Dr. Mom was my fave character, her an Aaron the only reason why I was still watching this boring crap. She is dead, so I am out.

unfortunately, i think charlie is supposed to be the emotional heart of this story. however, i think she is the least compelling character and one of the weakest actors in the show. i love aaron and miles, and like dr. mom ok. i think this show is beyond silly, but there’s enough interest in the flashbacks for me to stay tuned. and i could watch miles sword fight every episode (at least they’re getting their money’s worth from all those sword fighting lessons!).

    thanks for recapping

Chicken Man is the only reason I’m still watching.
