Revolution, Episode 3 RECAP No Quarter or Dime or Nickel

Available for hire

Ok, so where are we?
Ben is dead
Rachel is not
Danny is gone
Miles is found
Charlie is a killer
Grace might be history
Nora is mystery
Monroe is a d*ck with ice
Randall is here

We used to bang, but now we don’t

Nora, Miles and Charlie are together and they now have a power rifle. That’s right, Gunpowder is so 1880′s and er, 2020′s. Miles is curious as to why Nora is with the rebels? It is unlike her to fight for a lost cause. Nora replies “I fought for us, didn’t I? And Miles asks Nora if she really thinks that she and her rebel pals will bring back the United States? Charlie is like “Get a room.”

Flasback to 8 weeks Post-B.O. (Black-out):

Ok, but can I get a Big Gulp for the road?

Monroe and Miles are talking, and Miles wants to go AWOL. Miles needs to get to Chicago, his family is there. Monroe, at first is like “it’s too far” but then is all… “Ok, Roadtrip!!” Miles tells Monroe he can’t go, Miles has to get to his family, his family, his problem. Monroe says that Miles IS his family. Awwwww. That’s cute. They should share a sleeping bag.

I’m sorry, Sir,  the ’unlimited Salad and Breadsticks’ offer expired 15 years ago

Back to the NOW- Nora, Miles and Charlie arrive at the Rebel Base. It looks suspiciously like an abandoned Olive Garden, and there are still idiots, in line, waiting for a table. The rebel dude holds them at “bow and arrow point.” Out comes some dude, whose name is Nick, he knows Nora and says “You got the rifle!”

I said “Bring back a rifle, not bring back white people!”

The dude is all like “Who are these two jackholes?” Miles introduces himself as “Stu Redman” (or is it Redmond?) and introduces Charlie as “Frannie.” ( “The Stand” reference? Including Nick and Randall…) Nick tells Nora (and their infinite playlist), the rebels are in bad shape, there are a lot of injuries and there have been some deaths. 12 Dead, to be exact, and 1 missing.

Miles question Nick “What if the missing is giving up your position?”
In the background, a rebel dude dies- and Charlie announces “That man is dead.” (thanks for the newsflash, honey)
Which nicely sets up Miles’s next line “This is what being a rebel gets you.”

Joey and Chandler?  They are probably at Central Perk!

Lol at the Ghost Hunters thing. I don’t watch that show, but the resemblance was uncanny.

This show sucks, your recaps are way better. Too bad my boyfriend keeps making me watch it.

The only thing I enjoyed this week was Danny’s chok out on Gooch (love the nickname). All other bad acting you gster need to go, but Danny can stay.

Gooch is the actor who played one of the pilots in the now defunct Pan Am.

Gooch had an ass for a face, and was such a baby to beat up on a restrained and defenseless kid. Watching him get choked out was so satisfying.

I’m going to need some answers pretty soon, because I’m reaching a point with this show where I’m kind of ambivalent on everything and everyone.
I want the Google guy to be rich again because I like him and expect Miles to live forever because of course he’s immortal, but that’s about it. The rest of them could fall into a hole in the Earth, ending the show forever, and I’m not quite sure that I would care.

ChaCha thanks! He looked familiar but I couldn’t place him.

This show is so confusing and lame. I stopped paying attention to everything but the power stuff.Charlie and all them wandering in the woods with their bad acting, eh. But aaron and the doc starting to figure out the power stuff, that interests me.
