Charlie asks Miles if he’s seeing thing? Miles says he is not. Charlie tells him she heard him talking to Monroe, and she wants Miles to know they cannot make it without him. “We are all counting on you.”

Bringing up the rear, Aaron is looking around nervously. He is hallucinating Nora is ‘Cilla, the wife he abandoned because he was too much of a puss to protect her. ’Cilla wants to know why he could be so tough and strong for Charlie but not for her.
Aaron’s Bad Trip
Aaron broke her heart and she thinks he never loved her. Aaron tells her it is not true. Aaron, again, walks away from her. Granted, it’s only a hallucination, but STILL. Jeesh. Nora is like… dude… what is UP!?!?!
The torches start to burn brighter. There must be more oxygen coming in somehow. They come upon a door riddled with bullet holes. Miles and the RL go through the door. Before the others can get through the door, the RL slams it shut and barricades it, holding Miles hostage, at gun point. Miles realizes the RL is Militia.
Whoops! Looks like I trusted the wrong, random, dude, again
The RL tells Miles he is taking Miles “home.” The Misfits try to bust through the door.
The RL asks Miles if he remembers him? Miles does not. The RL has been undercover as a Rebel for a few years. But the opportunity to get Miles was worth blowing his cover. The Misfits get through the door with their weapons drawn.

The RL shoots Ashley- sheesh why did we even find out her name??? Charlie shoots the RL with a bow, killing him.

But before the RL drops he shoots Charlie, who also drops to the floor.
After the commercial, Charlie wakes up on a couch. Ben is sitting over her. She thinks she is dreaming. Ben tells her to call Danny and Maggie in for dinner. Charlie questions Ben, as the Militia killed him and kidnapped Danny, the Idiot, and Maggie died. Is she dreaming now, or was she dreaming before? Ben needs a haircut in this dream, just sayin. Ben tells her to lie down and close your eyes. At the same time, Charlie is hearing Miles begging her to open her eyes.
Charlie’s trip
A bullet has grazed Charlie’s head. For trained soldiers these Militia dudes are HORRIBLE shots.
Charlie slips back into her dreamstate and says “Did you hear that? It was Uncle Miles…” Ben tells Charlie she hasn’t seen Uncle Miles since she was a little girl. Charlie reminds Ben that Ben sent her to Chicago to find Miles so she could get Danny back. She tells herself “That is what is real. I am dreaming. I have to go get Danny.” She hugs Ben and says goodbye. Ben begs her not to go, but she hears Miles begging her to open her eyes.
If you like it, spread it!:

This show is becoming too contrived and tedious. I think I’d be better off to just read your recaps and skip actually watching. “Lost” it ain’t.
Still loving your recaps. And the Princess Bride references will never get old! A question for your readers – if the pendant is only good for a few feet, how did it power up the lighthouse? Or am I just really missing something here…
Thanks for the comments. MisRed feels the love!! Aaron was in the lighthouse when it lit up, so I assume the mechanism for lighting it was within the 8 to 10 ft range.
Either that or the writers are morons. Take you pick.
I really don’t know what to think about this show! It started out fun and intriguing, in an easy to watch kind of way. I liked that questions got answered and fun twists introduced, say early on, and not season 5. But now, it’s definitely getting a little too gimicky for me and I find myself not caring if I miss it. I guess while I’m watching it, I’m mildly interested, but nothing keeps me on my toes for the next episode.
My husband made an interesting point during the first episode. He was like, wait– they just skipped over all those years of the most interesting stuff. I.E. what happened immediately after the blackout. I kind of agree. We get tidbits of it, but I think the show could have had a lot more to work with if it didn’t try so hard to jump back and forth between right after and present.
And I want to like Charlie, but is it in her contract that she must cry after every scene of dialogue?!
I enjoy this show. Thanks for the great recap!
The pendant clearly has some kind of range – will they have to carry it in the helicopter? , since the lady on the farm with the computer in her attic used her pendant to power her computer from time to time. The 8-10ft could have been a lie since Rachel was trying to justify her \amplifier\.
