Revolution Recap: Ties the Bind…and Gag

Strausser spots Miles and runs after him.

With Mia in tow, the Misfits hide in a drain pipe.  Apparently Mia doesn’t like Miles.  This show is just full of surprises.  Mia wants to get the heck out of there, but the Misfits explain the situation to Mia.  Mia tells them she knows a dude with a Ferry but it isn’t going to be cheap.  Strausser is lurking nearby.

Flashback to 4 months post blackout, in Galveston, Texas.  Little Nora and Little Mia are walking along the beach and go up to a house flying the Texas flag.  They call out for their Dad, but he’s not there.  Well, the old saying is true.  Everything IS bigger in Texas.  Even disappointment.  Little Mia, apparently, isn’t too bright because she hasn’t figured out that her Mom is dead yet.  But Little Nora tells her that her Mom is out of business and they have to wait there for their Dad.

The next day, in the sunlight, Miles and Charlie peek around for Strausser.   Charlie thinks they gave him the slip, Miles corrects her saying that he is not one to give up easily and not one to hang around, he is, probably, one step ahead of them, up the road waiting to ambush them.

Mia is now a bounty hunter.  She tells Nora she found their father and he is alive.  When they went to Galveston, he had gone to San Antonio looking for them.  Well ain’t that funny?!?!  Nope.  Mia wants Nora to join her on a stroll to Texas to see their Dad.

Come mess with Texas

Nora tells her, after they get Danny back she’ll walk to Texas with Mia.  Mia fears getting Danny is a suicide mission.  Nora begs Mia to come with them.  Mia tells Nora she will get them across the river, but then she’s going to head to Texas.   Charlie overhears all of this and suddenly feels badly that she might be the reason they are all going to get killed.  Well, actually, dumbass Danny is the real reason, but if she’s Catholic, she’ll feel the guilt regardless.

The Misfits trek to where Mia’s contact has his ferry and… he’s dead.

I think he’s playin’ possum

Well… there goes their change to cross the river.

At Casa Neville, Julia hauls their maid, Zoila, in to talk to Neville.

Shut up, Yeffrey

Apparently, Zoila moonlights at Faber’s house and she heard a rumor… apparently Faber’s son, Steven, is mixed up with The Rebels.  Zoila confirms she heard this and is, then, dismissed.  Julia needles The Nev saying “Colonel Faber is one of Monroe’s most senior aids and his son is a traitor.  And Jason is being sent to California for asking one question.  Can you imagine if Monroe knew about THIS!??!”    Neville totally bites and the light bulb goes off over his head.  Between Zoila and his wife, the harpie, he may be able to save Jason.
