Kandi adds that Todd’s not into drama but she’ll check with him. The conversation turns to Nene and her motives for befriending certain people. I guess Kandi is still annoyed that Phaedra hung out with her once. Kandi feels that Nene always has a motive when she befriends someone but doesn’t get really specific. According to her Bravo blog, she feels that Nene befriended Marlo to avoid confrontation over the Charles Grant situation. I’m pretty sure that’s called being smart and savvy. Ironically, Kandi will never say the same about Kim who clearly used her for a hit song. Cynthia says that they just got off on the wrong foot. Kandi is not convinced of this. She’s becoming quite the pot stirrer.
How do you get your mouth to stay like this while you talk?!”
Porsha invites Cynthia and Nene to her house to discuss her charity. Porsha works behind the scenes but wants to use the Sisterhood of Traveling Wigs to bring more awareness to it. Porsha proclaims that they want to help people 265 days of the year…and doesn’t correct herself. Porsha obviously hasn’t been exposed to good music because she could’ve avoided this by simply listening to Anita Baker’s hit “Same Ole Love.” Nene of course gives one of her trademark faces but remarkably doesn’t call her out on it. Could it be that when Kenya corrected her it was the first time anyone has actually called her out on something? Maybe no one has ever told her how dumb she is. We all make mistakes but I have never, ever heard anyone get the days of the year wrong. Then again, maybe they only feed the hungry 265 days of the year. They take off most weekends.
Porsha: I needed that break. I work all day. 35/8, 14 days a week.
She brings up Kenya, as per contract, and Cynthia says that while she doesn’t know her she disrespected her and the school. Porsha tells her Miss America/USA event story and says that after the mistake Kenya ran away. Cynthia especially needs to get over it but without this, we’d all be doing something stupid like reading, investing money, making informed political decisons or tending to our families and friends.
Kandi and Phaedra meet to go shopping I guess. I was so uninterested. I don’t care either way if Kandi is into sex toys or not but it just doesn’t keep my attention. Kandi gives Phaedra kegel balls when all Phaedra really wanted was a penis ring. Kandi is adventurous enough to keep balls in all day according to Phaedra and I am just grossed out at this point. I can’t help but imagine slippery balls inside Kandi’s vagina. How will she get them out? Can they fall out? Who tests them out? Anyway, they bring up the trip and apparently the itinerary was based on Kim’s schedule so they hope she won’t cancel. Phaedra isn’t sure how things will work out with Cynthia on the trip and Kandi thinks Kenya is the life of the party and wants to invite her. In other words, Bravo didn’t bring this crazy lady into the fold to let her sit on the sidelines.
