Also, there really needs to be a Lucy and Ethel-esque episode in which Lisa and Adriana get into construction disguises and sneak onto the boat to fuck shit up. Just like Penelope and the shroud, they’d be…
We come to a close with another gala – I like this ending with galas trend the show has started. Always drama at a gala. This one is for the Miami Food and Wine Festival’s Swine and Wine Event. I can think of literally no other place I would rather be.
Oh, right, recap. So, there’s a lot of initial talk about how EVERYONE in Miami is here today, which means that there will be inevitable confrontations. There’s a baby one between Lisa and Lea – Lisa once again claims that Lea blew her off, when it appears that Lea is just at a different part of the party. Calm down, Lisa. Number One Dislike of Lisa? She’s one of those people who thinks that when someone doesn’t cram their head up her inflatable butt, it means said person doesn’t like her. She is also one of those people who think that liking Lisa is the same as being a good person. Oy. This is all very Taylor and Lisa Vanderpump, and no one does that shit better than Lisa Vanderpump. Ya hear that, Miami?
But, in more grownup drama, Adriana engages in some NAKED shitdisturbing when she literally drags Karent away from Rodolpho to discuss the rumors floating around that Karent and he aren’t an exclusive couple. Karent sets her straight immediately.
Both of us publicly maintain the stance that we are an official couple.
According to Karent, Ana wants Rodolpho, and that’s why she’s spreading nasty rumors. Oy, just watching Karent and her constant, unshakable smile-denial reminds me of Kelly Bensimon. Both women decided for themselves what reality was and wild fucking horses cannot drag them from it. Message to you models and pageant queens: YOU CANNOT SMILE THE TRUTH AWAY.
Which is, of course, exactly what Karent tries to do. Forced into a confrontation by Adriana, Karent and Ana discuss the alleged texting. And it’s so painfully stupid, Gasmii. These are grown women talking about who texted what dude and when and Ana actually utters a sentence that begins with, “In the history of his Facebook…” To her credit, Ana keeps her cool and just says, that he privately texted her a lot, and she’s never really reciprocated. Karent just keeps on smiling and refusing to believe a word of anything she doesn’t want to hear, and then says she’s above the fight she’s in the middle of and leaves. Ad follows her, and all Karent keeps saying is that she’s not worried about losing Rodolpho. It’s clear she is PAINFULLY worried.
