At Stockton, No-Nonsense Nurse is bringing Tara up to speed on Otto. He complained of meningitis symptoms so they brought him in to the infirmary. After the nurse leaves, Otto and Tara have a philosophical conversation about God and whether either of them believe in God. Tara looks confused. Otto tells her that he hasn’t cried like he did with her yesterday in years, and he looks at it as a type of religious experience.
Why aren’t you playing with yourself? I need more fodder for my girl spank bank.
He does say he’ll recant his RICO statement, and Tara is relieved. Otto wants one more thing from Tara, though. He wants her to get a crucifix that he gave LuAnn, and he wants it today, in case Tara can’t get it to him later because the blood work will reveal that there’s nothing wrong with him and no reason for him to see Dr. Knowles-Teller again.
Clay walks in with a Visitor sticker to the Stockton visiting room and chats with a elderly gentleman with a tracheotomy tube that he has to push on to speak (treatment for throat cancer?). We’ve seen this guy in a previous season, he’s always got solid information from inside for SoA, but I don’t remember his name or specific connection to the club. As he and Clay shake hands, I realize that I forgot about the guns Clay always brings to every meeting.
Yowza! BTW, I never called you a wife beater, Clay. I’ll keep quiet now.
Clay asks the old inmate if he knows anything about the RICO sting, and whether Otto has anything to do with it. The old guy says he doesn’t know anything new, only that Otto talked to the feds, like he told Jax “last time”. Clay looks like he got punched in the stomach when he realizes that Jax has been on top of this for some time now. Clay realizes this is a dead-end for new info, and asks Grandpa Inmate if there’s anything he can do for him on the outside. The old guy answers “There is no more outside”. Sad …
At Teller-Morrow, Unser drives up in his truck and walks in the office to talk to Gemma, who wants to know where he’s been, since she couldn’t find his Airstream when she went to the trucking company to visit. He tells her the new owners kicked him off the property after the shooting, and he’s been moving around ever since. Gemma tells him that he can park his trailer on the edge of the garage property until he finds a new lot.
After all he’s done for the club, it’s the least she could do. The very least.
Gemma asks Unser if he knows any inside info she can give to Jax about Clay’s role in the break-ins/Rita’s murder, etc. so Jax can bring it to the table. Unser says he doesn’t have anything he can think of off-hand, but he’ll think about it.
Please do … I don’t want to ever lay under Clayenstein again if I don’t have to.
