A little later, Tara tells Jax that Stockton asked if she could come in and cover the prison infirmary as their primary doctors are all sick. Jax tells her not to, since Abel’s still in the hospital and they have 50 million other things to worry about, but Tara says they have a problem, and
weirdly enough, it’s not the fact that you’re wearing a holstered bowie knife in a hospital, Jax.
Tara tells Jax that Maggie’s “helpful” status switch could possibly alert the prison to the fact that Tara has a conflict of interest volunteering at Stockton, since Otto’s held there and she’s married to the club president. Before Maggie listed Jax as Tara’s husband, the prison could not have found her connection to the club. Tara needs to get to Otto ASAP, before the prison finds out her club connections and bars her from volunteering at the prison. Jax reluctantly agrees. Side note:
Beard cowlicks are gross. You should not have a hair apostrophe on your face. Shave that shit!
Jax’s phone rings; it’s Bobby and he has Chibs, safe and sound. Yay!
Credits.
At the clubhouse, a thankful Jax hugs Chibs, who is no worse for the wear, except for some snazzy head staples. He tells Jax it was too dark to glean any information about Frankie’s getaway team, but Happy walks up and tells Jax and the boys that Quinn, a Nomad up north, knows that Frankie’s in Tahoe.
Don’t worry, Clay, you can pay me for my info in breadsticks.
The guys go inside to church, where Happy fills them in with more details. Quinn told him that Frankie’s in South Tahoe, hooked up with Pirelli’s crew. The guys ask Clay to talk to Cacuzza …
Why didn’t I think of talking to Cacuzza about Frankie? What a great idea!
and get Cacuzza to soften up Pirelli’s crew before they jump in there and snatch Frankie. Though Chibs would like to simply rip Frankie’s head off, Jax insists they first interrogate Frankie about the break-ins, to find out who’s behind them. Jax tells the guys the vote to strip Frankie of his patch must be unanimous, and it is. Even more importantly, the vote to introduce Frankie to “Mr. Mayhem”, more precisely, to kill him, must be unanimous. Again, the vote is unanimous although everyone around the table has a slightly different reason for wanting him dead.
After he bangs the gavel, Jax ushers everyone out but makes Bobby stay.
Is this post-meeting meeting going to take long? I have some pie a la mode waiting at the bar for me.
He tells Bobby they can’t kill Frankie because Sheriff Roosevelt wants to exact his own vengeance on Frankie in return for telling Jax who the rat at the table is. Bobby doesn’t know how this is gonna work, especially since Clay and the rest of the club all have itchy trigger fingers when it comes to Frankie. When Jax explains his convoluted plan of: finding Frankie in Tahoe, then insisting to the guys that he, as President, gets to kill Frankie, and then hustling Frankie off to some secluded supposed-execution-but-really-Roosevelt-hand-off place, Bobby balks. Jax then asks him a question I guarantee you that Obama never asked Biden in the last four years:
What do you suggest, V.P.?
If you like it, spread it!:

The legal papers can help tie Clay to the robberies. He reported the papers missing to the police so if he suddenly has them again when they were supposed to have been stolen then they can prove he’s connected to them because there would be no other way that he could have them.
Anyone wondering if Gemma can poison Clay with those shots??? And also guessing there is more to those papers from the safe….like birth certificates……could Clay be Jax’s biological father after-all and not the beloved JT? Still think Sutter has a twists and turns for us this year…….AND I just have to say I LOVE your re-caps, they truly are 100% accurate and funny as fuck!
If you are right, the Gemma was cheating on JT the entire time they were together since Jax is older than Thomas was. That’s just the sick twist the Sutter would have. If that’s true, we probably won’t find out until whatever season they finally kill Clay…
MissV – good point about what the papers in the safe could prove. Obviously something because they have mentioned it a lot since the first ep.
AppleP – I’m right there with you on the Otto/Tara creepiness. Did anyone else think Otto was going to bite Tara??
@plockeness … totally thought he was going to bite her. Then she would have had to do delicate baby surgeries with her mouth since she’d be out two working hands. I agree with all of you … I bet those certificates prove that Clay IS Jax’s dad … hopefully, he won’t cut off Jax’s hand when he tells him so.
