Sons of Anarchy Recap: Dying Alone is the New Black

At the Morrow’s, Clay’s wandering through the bedroom, calling for an absent Gemma, and then Nero walks in like he owns the place, looking for Clay’s old lady, too.  Awk-WARD!

Not as awkward as Nero’s loafers.

Clay tells Nero he cleaned things up and will get Carla’s ashes from Skeeter to give to Nero if he wants them.  Nero thanks him but tells Clay he doesn’t know what the future holds for him and Gemma when Clay presses him on the subject.

Jax and Bobby walk into the Teller house, and Tara lies to Jax and tells him she didn’t even get to see Otto.

He asked you to suck his dick, didn’t he?  Been there!

Jax lies to Tara about Oakland, saying things were “quiet” for the day.  He walks away to kiss the boys goodnight but has a change of heart and comes back into the kitchen, asking Tara to go away with him to the cabin tomorrow for a few days, just the two of them.

Lying to each other is much easier in the forest!

Jax implies that Gemma can watch the boys while they’re away.  Tara doesn’t like that idea.

Our fair grandma is drinking away her sorrows at a local bar when who walks up but … Gasp! … Joel McHale, hitting on her hard

Lemme buy you a drank

and Gemma, silly whore that she is, accepts.

Juice drops Clay off at his bachelor pad and as he drives away, Clay rips off the oxygen tube angrily.  He walks into the house, and sees Greg, Go-Go, and Frankie.   Greg stands up to apologize and Clay punches him.  He yells, “You idiots!  You weren’t supposed to kill her!”

The SAMCRO Revenge Society Meeting Is Now In Session

This is all a little anti-climactic as some of you Gasmii correctly surmised that Clay was behind these invasions a few episodes ago, but it’s still nice to see it “officially” come to light.  Can’t wait to find out how this turns out next week!  See you then!  As always, please offer comments and corrections to my ramblings and I’ll fix it for next time.  Love yous!

Thanks for the recap..it just made me laugh so hard in a few spots. I think back on how many women died in this episode and how terribly violent Jax killing the Sgt was..and find it mind boggling that you were snarky enough to make me find it funny. Loved the picture of poor Bobby being helped up and how the fatty is the weak link! By the way..how did they get their motorcycles fixed already..they were just blown up? Did they buy new?

Thx, Toni! I appreciate the kind words. I think they make the prospects work round the clock, like Santa’s elves, to build new custom bikes.

This review looks good to me! I love you’re comments below the pics especially the one about making satchel bags labled with the types of money. Can you imagine? Police:”What you got in the bag sir?” Jax:”Oh uh just the weekly whore money? See its labled! Can’t you read!?”
Lets do the cops job for them lol.

“How dare you insinuate that a club member would turn against his brothers for his own personal gain! That would never happen in MY club!” LMAO. Touche, Applepie….touche. I thought the same thing there.
Awesome recap. Awesome show. And I guess that whole “Complete and brutal honesty/truth” pact that Jax and Tara made to one another early on in the series and their relationship has completely gone out the window,eh?
I don’t know about anyone else, but Clay having juice in his back pocket like he does lately is making me uneasy.
Lastly, reguardless of the whole “It’s just a show” factor, two inconsistent things in this ep annoyed me. One being the peaceful, un-disturbed appearence on Roosevelt’s wife on her deathbed. No tube down her throat, iv’s, oxygen tubing…nothin. Iv’e seen many dead people in the hospital, and they never look groomed, clean, and comfortable like that, ESPECIALLY gun shot wound patients. Second, no doctor (especially female), would be permitted to treat a death row inmate in privacy like that. There would, at the very least, be a guard posted in the room, ready to use force if anything should happen to endanger said doctor.
Anyway, keep up the good work, apple!
