Hola, Gasmii! Time to catch up with our favorite badasses (and the men they love who ride bikes). Thanks goes out @andyourlittledogtoo, who explained what a “SHU” is in last week’s comment thread! Keep those comments coming!
We open with Jax and the Sons riding home from their stint at SJCCF, and as they ride by two very impressed young boys on their BMX bikes, Jax has flashbacks about himself and Ope. So sad …
Gemma wakes up in a group holding cell with Carla and the hoochies from Diosa. Since she was a tad inebriated/high when she was arrested, Gemma needs Carla to fill her in on the raid and why she’s in a cell. Carla blames Gemma for the raid, saying it had to be Emma Jean (in retaliation for the beatdown Gemma gave her) or Clay who made the call to the cops. When Gemma is released, Carla snarks, “You know all the right people.” Gemma answers that no, the cops just know she’s not a whore.
As she walks out in to the waiting room, we see that Gemma’s second favorite daughter-in-law was her phone call, and has now bailed her out. Wendy’s enjoying herself, saying Gemma’s friends list must be pretty short if Wendy was her emergency contact. Word.
Gemma tells Wendy to stop by the garage/club later and she’ll pay her the $900 Wendy fronted to bail Gemma out. Wendy even offers Gemma a ride home (because she’s a masochist, apparently), but Gemma sees Nero has just been released and declines the offer.
Gemma offers Wendy a parting word of advice: work on Jax in the Abel visitation situation, because he’s even less likely than Tara to fall prey to her mommy-guilt-inducing visits. Gemma tells Nero she left some things at Diosa so she needs him to give her a ride, but he has to wait and bail Carla and the girls out. Gemma tells Nero the girls blame her for the raid.
He lets her know — gently — that he thinks it’s her fault, too. Luckily, they don’t let that small breach of trust get in the way of their new love and walk away to the bail window together, holding hands.
At the clubhouse, Jax and the guys ride up to Tara, Abel and Thomas, who are happy to see Jax out of jail (again!) but of course, Tara is sad about Opie.
