At the meet, Luis puts on his Galindo hat and warns Clay and Bobby that the torched truck, plus the fact that Pope can get to the SAMCRO guys inside, makes them very nervous about continuing the business relationship with the Sons. Clay tries to talk him down, but Bobby jumps in (go, new V.P.!) and tells Luis that SoA will have Galindo’s coke and guns ready on schedule. Luis tells Bobby that if they hear anything from inside the jail, he’ll call them. Meet over.
Juice is driving Clay home from the meet and asks if he wants to go the clubhouse. Clay asks instead to go wherever Gemma’s new man lives. Juice, gullible and compliant as ever, gets guilted into taking Clay over to Diosa so he can check things out and make sure Gemma’s new boyfriend is a safe choice. Clay still loves her and she’s all he has left. He’s really laying it on thick, and with Juice, you don’t really need to do that. Ask the feds.
Nothing says, “I love Gemma” like a beat down and death threats.
Gemma is trying a new tack to get to T&A; which means, yay! We get more Drea this season!!!
Am I more loveable as a lesbian drug counselor than I was as a washed-up junkie baby momma?
Gemma is desperate and tells Wendy that she’ll make sure she gets visitation with Abel if Wendy threatens to report Tara for oxycontin abuse. Wendy’s considering it, because her only other option to see Abel is a messy, expensive court custody battle.
In the rec yard, the guard shift change is imminent, so Jax needs to find a way to get himself and his posse into solitary to see the shift sergeant and find out the details of Pope’s Big SAMCRO Revenge Plan. Jax approaches the black guys and tells their Mexican protection that they need to do this alone. Riot = quickest way into solitary.
Just like on the field, Tampa Bay lays down for their opponents.
Back from commercials, we get to see the assets of the four SAMCRO guys inside while they’re strip-searched before entering solitary.
After all the porn-based plot in the earlier seasons, it’s nice for the guys to give back.
Wendy goes straight to Tara’s office and uses Gemma’s ruse to instigate a veiled threat to allow her to see Abel, referring to Tara as “psychologically fragile”. Tara haughtily tells Wendy that she is now the second Mrs. Jackson Teller. Wendy congratulates her but still insists that Tara tell Abel that Wendy is his biological mother. They commiserate on the violent maelstrom of a mother-in-law that is Gemma, and Tara calls Wendy’s bluff about reporting Tara as a prescription medication addict.
