Hiya Gasmi! You probably have noticed the lack of a minicap this week. I had to go out of town for the day on business and had no one to cover for me; rather than take the time writing a minicap today, I scheduled fake business meetings and determined that I’d get the full recap done ASAP so that we have at least SOME time to talk about it before the finale on Sunday.
And there certainly is a lot to talk about in this round: Scabby’s continued horribleness, Skupin’s drinking, and possible vampire attacks.
Edward will never get in here in time!
We start out with the tribe’s return from tribal council and Scabby thanking them for keeping her. She thinks it may have something to do with her terrific bluffing skills. Ha! She is such an idiot.
Lisa and Skupin have a chat about how hard it was to vote off Spicoli because he was such a sweet kid. But when all is said and done Lisa would rather bring someone she knows she can beat than someone “worthy” of being there. Crap. I guess that means we’re stuck with Scabby until the end.
As they all lay together by the fire Skupin tells Scabby that he thinks she always thought she would be there at this point, but that she’d be with different people. You know, sometimes Skupin is surprisingly astute.
Malcolm wasn’t happy to hear Lisa voice that opinion at tribal because now he’s worried that her head’s in the game and that makes her dangerous.
I’ve also heard she hides hot sauce in her hair, so there’s that as well.
Hey, hidden hot sauce could be way more dangerous than a hidden immunity idol!
The next morning Scabby announces loudly, so that everyone can hear, that she is going to leave camp and go get some water.
Don’t try to follow me! I’m totally not pretending to hide my make believe idol right now. For real!
She is fooling no one. Skupin and Malcolm think it’s funny that she’s trying so desperately to make them all believe she’s going off to hide the idol after not using it last night. Malcolm’s convinced that if she really had one she would have played it last night because there was a HUGE threat of her going home. Plus, she was so relieved to find out she wasn’t going home, she wouldn’t have been so grateful if she’d have had an idol sitting in her bag.
You know that bitch isn’t grateful for anything
Scabby knows that Malcolm is safe at the next tribal because of his REAL hidden immunity idol, so she wants to try and destroy his alliance with Denise because together they are very dangerous. She starts out her plan by cornering Lisa and telling her that she is on the bottom of her alliance of four.
Lisa, you can tell I really care about you by the dead look in my eyes. I’m just watching out for you. Really. I am. Don’t be el stupido; you listen to me.
