I like this lady. Well, so far.
It’s time for the immunity challenge. Once again it will be combined with reward. So for this challenge two people from each tribe will pull a sled out to retrieve bundles of puzzle pieces. Once they come back to the start, the next pair will go, and so on.
After getting all of their puzzle pieces back they will need to solve the puzzle with two people piecing the puzzle together and one person serving as a caller. First two tribes win immunity; losers go to tribal. As this is also a reward challenge, the first tribe to finish will get pillows, blankets, and a tarp. The second tribe gets a tarp only. Losers=nothing.
Ave Maria is sitting out for Tandang and Dawson is sitting out for Kalabaw. As always, they get a few minutes to strategize. The amount of bundles to retrieve means that one pair will have to go twice for each tribe. In Matsing’s pow wow, Roxy says she can’t go twice because she hasn’t had enough water.
I’ve been avoiding water all day so I could use that as my excuse.
Angie doesn’t really want to go twice either, but she’ll do it if she has to. I’m guessing Roxy’s self-diagnosed future dehydration means that Angie is indeed going twice.
Survivors ready? GO!
First up are Carter and Jeff for Kalabaw, Pete and Skupin for Tandang and Russell and Angie for Matsing. Tandang retrieves their puzzle pieces first, with Kalabaw not too far behind. Matsing is a distant third. Juggs and Artis head out next for Tandang while Katie and Penner go for Kalabaw. Malcolm and Roxy are up for Matsing and they have a lot of ground to make up.
Kalabaw passes Tandang putting them in the lead, and Malcolm has definitely pulled his weight in this leg and so Matsing is now a bit closer than they were before. Carter and Jeff go out again for Kalabaw with Pete and Skupin going out for Tandang and Russell and Angie taking on the extra leg for Matsing. They all look WIPED OUT, but Carter and Jeff make it back first, so Kalabaw gets to start on their puzzle first. Dana is the caller and Jeff and Penner are the puzzle solvers. Tandang is next to start on theirs with Lisa as their caller and Juggs and Pete working on the puzzle.
Russell and Angie get back last with their puzzle pieces, with Angie not even pulling the sled anymore. It looks like she’s pushing, but I’m wondering if she’s even really doing that.
Hey do you mind if I sit on this thing?
So Matsing is last to start on their puzzle with Denise as their caller and Russell and Malcolm working on the puzzle while Angie goes to rest for a while.
It’s like my own clubhouse in here!
