Erik is in the water first and quickly releases the first ring; Sherri does the same for the fans tribe. But where Erik, Andrea, and Brenda keep switching out, Sherri stays in the water and keeps diving for the fans. This proves to be a bad idea as the favs get all nine of their rings as the fans are getting their second ring.
The fans then start taking turns, but the favs are already starting their ring toss game and the fans still have two rings left to retrieve. Malcolm is on toss duty again which is a little surprising given his performance last time around. Or maybe not. He lands two of the three rings before the fans even get their raft back to shore. But he can’t seem to land that final ring. And Reynold is tossing for the fans……uh oh…..will this prove to be a repeat of last week?
Crazy Ass Phillip comes to the rescue, landing the final, winning ring for the favs.
If y’all listened to me this woulda never happened
Reynolds Wrap tells us that he was thinking less about the loss and more about what a cancer Shamu is and how he needs to go. Everyone unanimously thinks he’s lazy and an asshole so it’s gonna be an easy vote at tribal, fer sure.
Normally we’d go straight to the losers’ camp to see how they’re dealing with the knowledge that they’ll be voting out one of their own in just a bit. But because the producers like to torture us, we’re instead gonna check in with the favs. Specifically Phillip and his revival of the Stealth R Us initiative.
He tells Malcolm that he’s dubbed him “The Enforcer” and Malcolm tells us that he thinks Phillip is ridiculous.
And not ridiculous in the way my abs are ridiculous.
Of course, because Malcolm already knows Phillip is cuckoo for cocoa puffs he totally pretends to be honored to be part of the organization.
And if that weren’t enough, Phillip (and the producers) feel the need to fill us in on the other members of Stealth R US. We’ve got Corinne “The Dominatrix”, CockRing “Intelegencia Attache”, Andrea “The Eliminator”, Dawn “True Grit”, Malcolm (of course), and Phillip himself as “The Specialist”. Their mission (should they choose to accept it) is to beat the fans.
Did y’all know that Phillip is insane????
I’m not sure why we’re supposed to care about any of this. Will it come into play later in the season? My guess is it won’t, but only time will tell.
Meanwhile, the losers are back at camp Gota and their understandably not too happy about their loss and are trying to figure out what they could have done differently. Michael points out that they had no leadership during the challenge and Shamu agrees.
