It’s a no go; Spicoli is much more comfortable sticking with his current alliance than jumping ship at this point. So Scabby goes to talk to Penner.
I wouldn’t piss in your mouth if your teeth were on fire
Penner tells her he doesn’t trust anyone out here, but his alliance trusts him so he’s not going to fuck that up by voting with them. He tells her she should feel proud for getting so far in the game, but it’s her time to go. LOLOL. I love how blunt he is with her. Not mean, but totally telling her to give it up, she’s outta there.
Pete’s still got a Hail Mary play to play. He goes to Skupin because he knows Skupin can be a little flighty. He tells him that Scabby is FOR SURE playing her idol, so if Skupin will vote with them, they can blindside Malcolm and get him out of the game. Skupin knows that Malcolm is a serious threat in the game and if it’s down to them in the end, he’s not sure he could beat him. So he tells Pete he’ll think about it.
Meanwhile, Penner fills in everyone else on his convo with Scabby and Malcolm is not at all happy that his name is being tossed about. He knows that tonight is going to be tricky for him with the idol so he’s gonna have to keep his wits about him and really pay attention to what’s going on at tribal. Hopefully he’ll make the right decision or he’s toast.
Seems like someone knows which one he has to be worried about.
Time for tribal.
Jeff brings in the jury and Scabby is glowing at Artis which makes Jeff wonder (aloud of course) if this is her working it to get jury votes. In fairness to Scabby, I don’t think she’s doing that at all; she’s just happy to see a person that likes her.
Malcolm says that sure, thoughts of jury management cross your mind at this point in the game, but right now he’s more concerned with staying IN the game. He admits that he’s worried; it’s no fun to hear that your name is being tossed around as a possibility. He hopes his alliance stays true to him. Pete knows he’s in trouble and admits that he spent the afternoon really working hard to get someone to work with him. He says if just one person comes over they could get rid of Malcolm. “He has an idol.”
Jeff wonders if Scabby admits regrets how she handled the last tribal council. Absolutely, but she says even though she knows Lisa didn’t betray her she still doubted her. Jeff wonders if some of this can be attributed to cultural differences.
Yup. That’s it. Completely. Everyone is bitches in Brazil. And we all love each other for it.
