Skupin asks Penner if he thinks Lisa will switch over, but Penner says that he knows she won’t. He’s hoping that Skupin will come over with him anyway; it’s all up to him now. Skupin isn’t sure what exactly he’s going to do, but whatever he DOES do he knows that he’s going to make three people happy, and three people will be mad at him.
Time for tribal council.
Jeff points out that he told Scabby at the end of the last tribal that she was up against it but anything can happen. And whadda ya know? Anything did happen.
He wonders if that was her plan going into the auction. Yup. It’s the best $500 she’s ever spent. Jeff then goes to Denise to revisit the last tribal and how brutal it got for Scabby. Denise wouldn’t call it brutal; she’d say a group of people simply reached their level of tolerance.
When you’ve spent as much time with her as we have then you can talk about brutal, Jeff
Then Jeff talks to Penner, wondering what the mood was like back at camp after the immunity challenge. He says it got crazy in a way that they hadn’t really expected.
He calls out the final four deal between Malcolm and Denise and Skupin and Lisa. He makes an appeal to Skupin and Lisa, reminding them that they’ve said they trust him the most out there AND to stay in an alliance with Malcolm and Denise would essentially be like handing over the million dollars to one of them
Malcolm points out that Penner didn’t trust Lisa enough to make the final four alliance with her when she wanted one. Well, he’s ready to do that now dammit!!
Malcolm adds that Penner isn’t the only one who’s formed a bond with Lisa. He hopes that she has a place in her heart for him and Denise as well and he trusts her absolutely.
Have I mentioned that I don’t think I’m equipped to play this game?
Jeff wonders if she can compare this situation to any other in her life. Yes, but it’s too personal to talk about. I guess she’s talking about her marriage ending? She gets a little weepy (shocking) and Jeff wonders if there’s a chance that her decision tonight will disappoint herself. Yeah.
Jeff remembers that Skupin’s got a vote too and asks him how tough this is for him.
Well….I’m not going to cry or anything….
He says there is not one person sitting there that he wouldn’t want to be friends with outside of this game.
Yeah, I don’t think he was including you in that statement Scabby!
