Tandang welcomes Malcolm into the tribe and he for one is happy to be in a camp that a) has people in it, and b) is nicer than the one he came from. Also? Cookies! He’s stoked to not only have a hidden immunity idol, but now a challenge win as well. He feels like he’s got his swag back.
I’m bringing swag back (hwah!), those mother fuckers won’t know how to act….
As they enjoy their pastries and cookies Lisa talks about what a great energy Malcolm brings to the tribe. I’m sure it helps that he’s not so bad to look at.
He makes me want to hot sauce myself!
Juggs isn’t thrilled to see Malcolm welcomed with open arms, especially given the fact that Ave has cut her out. She says it brings her back a bit to her childhood because she was bullied in school. So she tries to woo Malcolm to her side by flirting with him.
Hope the poor boy’s not lactose intolerant!
Pete is keeping an eye on the whole thing though and pulls Malcolm to the side as soon as he can to warn him about aligning with Juggs. He tells him that they used to be in an alliance together, but no more, oh, and by the way? Pete and Ave have the immunity idol, so there’s that to think about as well.
I love being the popular new guy
Malcolm is thrilled that he’s not only been welcomed in by EVERYONE, but also that he’s getting fed useful information from the get go. Right now no one knows that he has the immunity idol, but he knows about Pete’s and Ave’s. He knows if he plays his cards right he can work that to his advantage.
Meanwhile over at Kalabaw, they’re also welcoming their new tribemate, tough with a bit less enthusiasm than Malcolm’s received from his tribe. Denise assures them that she’s happy to be there and wants to help out however she can.
I’ll work like a dog as long as you don’t kick me to the curb.
Katie is thrilled that they got Denise instead of Malcolm because right now it’s guys vs. girls with even numbers. Denise changes all of that. If they can get her over to their side, they’ll have the majority alliance and be able to pick the guys off however they choose. She says it’s her job to totally get Denise under her arm.
It’s at times like these that deodorant would be soooooooo helpful
It’s raining and raining and raining and Kalabaw huddles together to try and stay warm, but Dana is feeling like crap. Not only is she wet and cold, but she’s dizzy, nauseated, and her tummy hurts. She ends up running out of the shelter to go puke and then tells us she’s used to be the tough girl at home, but you’re only as tough as your body will let you be.
