Jeff’s happy that Penner’s played his idol because whatever power he had it’s now gone. He says Penner is totally going to be the next to go. Skupin doesn’t want Penner to give up though, telling him that there are cracks in the Tandang tribe to be exploited. Skupin knows that if Penner goes down he’s most likely to go down next.
Just attack the crack and I’ll have your back.
Penner’s no quitter; he is not going to lay down and die. He knows he may have to lay low for a bit while he comes up with a new plan, but he’s not going to quit. There’s no quit in him.
The next morning Penner, Lisa and Ave take out the boat to go fishing. While Penner is in the fathoms below fishing, Lisa tells us that everyone wants Penner and Skupin out because they don’t want a returning player to win. Thanks Lisa! I never would have known that without you telling me; it’s not like they’ve been talking and talking and talking about it or anything.
Jeff and Lisa go to get the tree mail and talk about how they’re going to band together to get Artis, Ave, and Pete (aka the three meanies) out. Well, that’s after they vote out Penner and Skupin. Jeff just loves working with Lisa because she’s so sweet and naïve. He’s hoping they can work together and flip themselves from the bottom to the top.
I always have to be on the top, Lisa. I’m the man, dammit
Time for the reward challenge. Am I the only one who missed the conversation about the merged tribe’s name? I don’t remember them even discussing it last week and then this week it just shows up as if we should have all already known about it. “Dangrayne”. Dang Granny? Lisa can’t have liked that too much.
Where’s mah hot sauce?
For this challenge the tribe is going to divide into two teams. One person from each team will race out into the water, bringing a rope with them. They’ll clip said rope to a fish trap and then dive down and release the buoy it’s attached to. Then they’ll hang onto the buoy as the rest of their teams drags them back to the shore.
This process will be repeated three more times for a total of four fish traps. Once they’ve got all the fish traps, one person will dig in a sand pit searching for a key that unlocks their puzzle frame. Once unlocked, two people will use puzzle scrolls to solve the puzzle. Confused yet?
I am and I gave the directions!
The winning team will get a river cruise through the jungle while enjoying barbeque ribs, potato salad, corn bread, and apple pie. Lemonade and iced tea too (and I’m sure there’ll be some booze on that boat too – there always is). Losers get nuttin.
