To even out the players, Tandang and Kalabaw each have to sit out two players, so Dawson and Katie sit out for Kalabaw and Lisa and Ave sit out for Tandang. Survivors ready? GO!
First out are Dana, Artis and Angie. Dana and Artis are back fairly quickly, but Angie is having some trouble submerging a mere two feet into the water.
Pete and Jeff head out next while Angie is STILL having a hard time. Jeff makes it back before Pete and Angie FINALLY makes it back for Matsing. Penner heads out next as Pete gets back with his piece and Skupin is out next. Russell heads out for Matsing hoping to win back some time. He does retrieve the puzzle piece quickly.
Kalabaw is still in the lead as Carter heads out for the next piece as Skupin swims back with Tandang’s third puzzle piece. SKUPIN, BLEEDING FROM THE FACE!!!! Jeff yells out.
I think there may be something to Robin’s theory! I mean, Jesus Christ on a cracker, how many more injuries can the guy sustain? DAMN!
Kalabaw keeps its lead while Denise and Malcolm bot do their best to get Matsing caught up. It should also be noted that Juggs dos NOT have the same buoyancy issues that Angie did and she goes out THREE TIMES IN A ROW for her team. Color me impressed.
I don’t know why Denise and Malcolm bother to give Russell another shot after his abysmal showing the first time around, but they do and he fails even more spectacularly the second time, eating up a ton of time and this round not even returning with a puzzle wheel. Meanwhile, Angie tells Denise she can’t go again. Pay attention because that will become important later.
Skupin takes another turn even with his blood tears thing going on, but it’s Kalabaw who gets all their puzzle wheels and starts working on the puzzle first. The puzzle is SUPER exciting as pieces are spun around in order to solve a word. Kalabaw’s lead pays off as they are the first one to spell out “Treasure”. Anyone else wish it had been “cookies”? Matsing gets a shot to get back in it, but in the end Tandang wins the second immunity slot so it looks like Matsing is heading BACK to tribal once again.
Instead of heading back to Matsing’s camp to see what’s happening before tribal, we first make a pit stop at Kalabaw where Penner and Jeff are having a pow wow. Penner wants to build some trust with Jeff, so he tells him he does indeed have the hidden immunity idol and suggests they work together, for now at least.
