Nigel thinks it’s remarkable that neither of them has ever landed in the bottom two and they just showed again tonight why that is. He then has to point out how hard it is to memorize routines in such a short period of time, giving a call out to just how much harder that is for Cyrus, a nondancer.
Mary can’t wrap her mind around how he’s doing it all. She also loved Tiffany and tells her she hasn’t seen her hit it as hard as that. Rob loves their abandon and this dance was his favorite of the evening so far.
Time for our one and only group number of the evening! Sir BitchyPants is responsible for this one and, well…..
Let’s just say this dance was as stinky as his attitude. It’s SOOOOOOOOO bad, y’all. I Loathe it. And him.
We’ve reached the first solo of the evening and it’s Eliana’s. Our filler this time around is all about the contestants’ journey throughout the season. I’m not going into their journeys; we’ve all seen it once already. Let’s just get to her solo.
Gorgeous as usual.
But Cat needs to tell her she’s got red lipstick on her teeth! Yikes!
We’re moving on from Eliana to Chehon’s all-star pairing of the night. He’s got Allison and a Stacy Tookey contemporary routine. This piece is about a relationship where Allison has an opportunity to go off and follow her dreams. She wants to stay with him, but he loves her enough to let her go.
Stacy tells us that she finds herself gasping and screaming watching Chehon do what he does. She’s so cute.
LOVE. They are so beautiful together and I feel like he definitely rose up to meet Allison here both emotionally and from a technical perspective. Chehon did NOT get outdanced here AT ALL. So tender and strong. Just really gorgeous.
Cat totally calls out the one handed lift because she is awesome and I like to think that she wants Chehon to win it as much as most of us do.
Obviously Stacy loved it too!
The judges give it a standing ovation and Cat cautions Nigel because she thinks he’s going to fall. Spoilsport. I thought we were friends, Cat!
Of course Mary has to scream, and then she says she has to first toot Stacy Tookey’s horn. She’s a three time Nommy eminated choreographer after all.
I only got through the second grade.
