Back to the group routine. It pairs up Sonya Tayeh and Christopher Scott, and brings back together all top twenty dancers.
I don’t care what Nigel says, I have yet to see the dance that’s going to top Ramalama for me. Just like I will always be bitter about Danny’s loss, I will always have an insane love of Ramalama. RAMALAMA FOREVAH!!
That said, I really did enjoy this routine. It’s very dramatic what with the wind machine and crazy lights. Very interesting and cool; just what I’d hope to see in a Sonya/Christopher collaboration. Still not as good as Ramalama. Nyeh!
So cute how much Sonya and Christopher enjoyed it!
Another tradition of the SYTYCD finale is that the judges each get to pick their favorite routine of the season (or the routine that Nigel told them they had better pick). Nigel the Perv is up first with his favorite and oddly enough, it doesn’t include any of his “favorite” dancers from the season/show/ever in the history of dance. Huh. He has chosen the Titanic inspired routine with Audrey and Matthew, choreographed by Travis Wall.
It was lovely the first time around. It’s lovely again. If it’s alright with all of you, I’m not going to spend a lot of time talking about dances that we’ve already discussed (some at length). The way Nigel says chaise lounge still irritates the fuck out of me.
Everything I do irritates you.
True Nigel, true.
Someone needs to help me figure t who the hell Tiffany’s sister reminds me of. For the life of me I CAN’T figure it out and it is driving me INSANE!!!!!!!!!!!!!
It’s an actress. And she’s been in some stuff. That’s all I got.
Cat goes to Lil C next who first spends half of his allotted talking time brushing his beard. I guess when crabs spread to your face it’s really no joking matter.
They itch like crazy!
Of course he’s picking a hip hop number, but surprisingly it’s not one of Cyrus’. He talks of swagography and turning it all the way up. It’s the Witney/Twitch Luther Brown routine. Swagography, hairography. There’s a lotta ographies going on here.
It’s now Debbie’s turn I am still trying to figure out what the hell is going on with her hair.
Shhh….my hair is big because it’s full of secrets.
Her choice of reprise is Tiffany and George’s dance from top twenty week, the beautiful piece choreographed for them by Sonya. She’s a really big fan of Sonya’s and says this piece shows the real depth from which the choreographers on the show come from. I’ve missed you Debbie. Where you been all season?
