The last judges’ choice of the evening belongs to Mary and she gives Sir BitchyPants the ego stroking he so desperately needs by picking his suitcase dance. Strangely, the dance has gone from being about tragic circumstances in general to being specifically about the Hollycaust.
This poinsettia has been whispering in my ear all night about the truly horrifying acts committed upon holly!!!
Serious business that Hollycaust. It’s right up there with the rise in fernocide over the past few years.
Of course BitchyPants is just eating up the fact that one of his pieces is being highlighted and if I doubted what I said before about him dying to pick his own piece (I didn’t), those would be laid to rest now.
You should all bow before my superiority at choreographing blatantly manipulative dances!!
BARF. It’s amazing the level of contempt I have for this man.
Cat tells us that we’re doing something new this year; letting each of the dancers also pick one of their routines to reprise. Oh, I like this!
Eliana is up first and she talks about being pushed out of her comfort zone and how awesome it was to be paired up with Cyrus (ha!) and then chooses the Bang Bang dance with Alex Wong (choreographed by Stacy). I love this piece as well; it was so great to see her dance with Alex. So good.
After their performance, Cat asks Nigel to share his thoughts on Eliana. He says again that she is his favorite girl, although this time he knocks it back to this year versus his favorite dancer ever from the other night. He also pats himself on the back for what a great show this is and then ties it back to Eliana being good at everything she does.
He also lets that every single judge had her on the top of their list in Vegas. Oh….and….Desmond Richardson told Nigel he wants her for his company as soon as she gets voted out.
Such a big deal.
I love her look of shock and awe at that because that is HUGE. All that said, he doesn’t think she has it easy tonight; Tiffany hasn’t put a foot wrong throughout the show so it’s really anyone’s win at this point. He knows they’ll both have big careers in this business no matter what happens tonight.
I knew my appreciation for the memorable audition moments couldn’t last forever. At number three are The Ninja Twins. I know a lot of people thought that they were great and found them to be lots of fun. I thought they were a waste of time given that they are TOO OLD to be on the show. And that time wasted took away from seeing other good dancers that were actually eligible. In fact they annoyed me so much I refuse to grab a picture of this. I PROTEST NUMBER THREE!! REVOTE!!!
