Kailyn voiceovers that things are going great with Jordan, but that she’s terrified of Slo Jo because their mediation is that day and he’s not happy about it. She talks about it with Jordan, and they both agree that they both just want to see Isaac as much as possible. I actually believe them… I love watching Kailyn telling Isaac that he’s so cute that she can barely take it… it was so genuine. I didn’t need to see Jordan drinking his cereal milk.
A big bite for a big boy.
A bigger bite for a bigger boy.
Keepin’ it classy.
Keep up the good work Isaac. You’re getting cuter each week.
As she’s driving to Slo Jo’s to drop Isaac off, she starts panicking that Slo Jo is going to be mad at her and going to yell at her. Slo Jo’s dad comes out and takes Isaac and it’s all pleasant. Slo Jo comes out to her car and he’s calm, but Kailyn starts crying. He wasn’t mean, per se… but I do think she’s somewhat scared of something. Or maybe it’s just nerves. Going to court is never fun, and when you’re fighting for your child, it is emotional. So, while I think she’s over-reacting, I’m brushing it up to nerves (and that she’s still in love with Slo Jo).
Oh look, another new car.
Kailyn meets her lawyer at the courthouse and is so nervous for their mediation. Slo Jo arrives and Kailyn is terrified. I hate that. She’s not doing anything wrong. After two hours, they come out and Kailyn has gotten an order to change the custody agreement so that she gets Isaac two weekends a month. Slo Jo is extremely pissed off and swears he’s going to appeal it. I guess I’m confused by “mediation”, because I’ve been to them and don’t you both have to agree? And if you don’t it goes to trial? Did he agree to something he didn’t want? Do I care?
This is my praying mantas face.
Kailyn and her lawyer talk about what happened with “the master”. Apparently, they didn’t really agree to anything, but the master made the change for now and Slo Jo will have to either agree or get an attorney to make changes. The attorney said that the master didn’t really take much stock in the tipsy picture drama, but when he starting asking Slo Jo about who was watching Isaac at that time, Slo Jo got defensive (and probs pissed the master off). I’ve been on the Kailyn side when a mediator (or judge) got mad at the “other side” and it feels so good to watch them come down on a person that has been a little too big for their britches. Just sayin’. It’s nice.
