Chelsea’s a moron. Jenelle finds a new family. Kailyn keeps looking for one. Leah keeps ruining hers.
I must preface this recap to say that I am sitting inside my home office (read, bed) with my windows open… my neighbor is edging his yard and it’s so loud that I am on the verge of a panic attack… plus there are three dogs barking non-stop and they all belong to me and I can’t deal with getting up and finding them because I know they are muddy and I don’t want to deal with it… That said, my patience is limited for these ladies today.
Chelsea, her mom, and Aubree are heading out to get their nails done. It goes without saying that Aubree is in a complete state of chaos. But I’ll say it anyway; can someone please comb this kid’s hair? Chelsea thinks her one therapy session is all she needs, because she knows everything already. She feels like her life is on track and she just needs to get her GED. Really, who knew? Chelsea isn’t as orange as she normally is, but I’m sure it’s short-lived. Aubree babbles non-stop to the Vietnamese lady doing her nails and Chelsea babbles non-stop to her mom. Aubree made more sense. At the very end of the scene, Chelsea uses her baby voice to talk to Aubree and my skin crawls.
Well, look who just rolled out of bed.
I don’t need therapy, I need my free membership at the Year Round Brown.
Just use massive amounts of pancake batter like I do.
In Vietnam I have my PhD.
Nice, Su Lynn, I just finished up my Master’s.
Uh-oh, it appears Chelsea took her math GED practice test and failed it. But no worries, two of her friends come by and tell her it’s okay, she can just try again. I am so distracted by her guy friend that I missed a lot of the conversation, so I had to rewind. But basically Chelsea wants to open her own salon and so she needs to go to beauty school. Her guy friend, Feathers, went to a cosmetology school and loved it and finished in a year… so Chelsea is making him take her to see the school, because y’all, Chelsea was “off track”, but now “she’s back”. If it took Feathers a year, we can assume it’s going to take Chelsea 5 years.
Her friend, Feathers, makes a few appearances in this episode, so I’ll have time to discuss him more… but WOW! what a mess of a person’s face/hair/body. He won’t stop fiddling with his hair, earrings, lip rings, chest piercings, and scabs. If I went to get my hair done and he shimmied up to my chair, there’s a good chance I would throw up.
