Farrah uses this as a chance to let his parents know she’s a mom. She tells his parents that she hopes to have several kids by the time she’s 23 and Dan nearly chokes. I think he just realized what a massive psycho she is.
Amber is getting ready to go look at houses, but before she can leave Gary calls to ask her when she wants him to drop off Leah. Well, she can’t have her, because she’s going to look at houses. Gary flips out on her and Amber flips out on him. He prods her immediately by saying that he wants nothing to do with her if she can’t take care of her child. My God, these two go from 0 to 90 in no time. I honestly don’t know why people think they can’t take their kids with them to do things. I hear that as an excuse all the time. Meanwhile, my 4-year-old went with me to look at every single house we viewed while house shopping. He loved it. When he was Leah’s age, he went with me to go apartment shopping. It’s not like kids aren’t allowed.
Leah calls Sarah to complain about Gary. She turns on the waterworks as soon as her friend tells her that she should already expect Gary’s behavior because he’s acting very “Gary-like”. She needs to stop being surprised as his treatment of her. She’s right. Gary is incredibly predictable.
But if I accept that, then I have no more excuses.
It’s an incessant stream of whining and I can only imagine Sarah’s regretting starting this friendship.
Ty and Cate are at an adoption support group where Ty asks Dawn what kind of jobs he can get with the degree for which he’s going. Cate tells Dawn she’s waiting to go back to school until she knows what degree she needs. Dawn doesn’t agree with this, but Cate swears it’s just for the winter. I know this excuse and it’s lame. She would be going for her first semester of college. Guess what that should consist of? Core classes! All those fun classes you thought you didn’t have to take anymore because you took them for 12 years of regular school. Get those things out of the way.
“Don’t trust her. She’s a bum.”
At Maci’s, she’s got a ramshackle garage sale going on. Her friend Erica shows up at which time Ryan texts Maci about some Facebook posts. It seems that Maci tweeted it would be easier if Ryan and she were still together. This is pissing off Dalis, so they need to talk. Kyle tells Maci to ignore Dalis and stay out of the drama. So, Maci tells Ryan that she’ll block Dalis from her Twitter account so she can’t get mad about anymore tweets.
Ryan comes back with a barrage of F-bombs about how much he hates Maci and that he’s going to take her to court and not let her and Kyle live together anymore and take the kid away. I hope Maci saved that text for court seeing as how it’s clear he’s main reason for taking her to court is spite and motivated by his lame girlfriend.
