No one will call and speak to Maci, so she has no clue who’s picking up Bentley. Ryan just says, “Can I get the birth certificate from ya’?” No prelude. She asks why he needs it and he says his lawyer needs it. It’s at her mom’s house, so Ryan wants her to go get it. Why can’t he go get it from her mom’s? He should feel comfortable going over to a parent’s house. Maci tells him he could just go to the health department and get a copy for himself. Ryan tells her it’s easier for him to get it from her right now. I’m sure it would be, if she had it at her home.
Kyle asks how it went and she tells him that he’s asking for the birth certificate. She’s already figured out his plans and makes a pretty funny joke – “Ryan can’t even spell ‘lawyer’.” It’s not just a joke – it’s a truth.
I’m confused, but I thought they already shared 50/50 custody. So, is Ryan just trying to make it official? He makes it sound like Maci never lets him see Benny.
Farrah meets up with Ashley, who says she’s going to miss having Sophia around. Farrah defiantly tells Ashley that Sophia is her daughter and belongs with her and their parents needs to just back the hell off. I haven’t really seen them all up in her business since she’s been in Florida. Is this the guilt talking? Then, Sophia does something that makes me have to pause the video and laugh for a solid half hour.
Finally. Someone said what has needed to be said for a long, long time. And it came from a 2.5 year old.
Farrah totally blows this off, which bothers me. If my kid told me I was a bad person, I’d have to wonder. Ashley has been proposed to, it seems. They don’t talk about this guy like he’s her boyfriend. They talk about him like he’s some suitor. It’s weird. So, while Ashley tries to share her story, Farrah interrupts with her pathetic, sad story of when Derrick proposed to her and she turned him down. I thought she loved him and would be married to him now?
Cate drops Nick off at April’s while Ty goes to see the therapist. Ty tries to figure out what’s causing his anger, but I have a feeling it’s whenever he thinks about Butch. He finally realizes that he blames Butch for having to put Carly up for adoption. That had he been a better example of a father he would have kept Carly. He wants to cut Butch out of his life, but he worries about just dropping him like that. The therapist tells him that the problem is that Ty has unconditional love for his father, but it’s not being returned. It’s truly heart breaking to watch. I hope people watch this and take it for what it is – a lesson about how your actions, big and small, can and will permanently affect your children.
