On the way back to the airport, we see that neither Farrah nor Debra has figured out how to tighten the carseat straps. Since Sophia’s father was killed in a car accident, don’t you think they would be more cautious?
Ah, who needs a seatbelt?
Debra keeps the carseat with her, so I guess Farrah is also going for forego putting Sophia in a carseat in the airplane. At least I won’t have to hold my breath while watching these poor children ride around in cars just kinda’ tossed into their carseats like ragdolls.
Ty is writing a heart-wrenching letter to Butch. He basically tells him “goodbye” and that he now realizes that he isn’t going to waste his time on a parent that never really loved him in the first place. That will never treat him like a priority. Cate tells Ty that she would have kept Carly if it wasn’t for Ty’s desire to put her up for adoption. Ty tells her it was her final decision, but Cate reminds him that she took his feelings into consideration unlike a lot of girls. They kinda’ rehash the entire series for us together while watching the sun set.
Maci goes to see her momma and tells her about the Ryan situation. Maci’s mom wants her to acknowledge that Ryan has come a long way since episode 1. She right and although Ryan is still pretty damn immature and clueless, it’s far better than where he was before. Maci still holding onto his early behavior which her mom wants her to let go. Maci wonders aloud why the world has to work this way to which her mother so poignantly replies, “It wouldn’t be had you gotten on birth control before you and Ryan started having sex.” BOOYAH!
Maci allows her mom to go get the birth certificate to give to Ryan. Luckily, we are treated to a gratuitous dog shot that is actually really cute.
My god, these silly humans are all so demented.
Amber lazily sits in her couch divot while she decorates her apartment for Leah’s birthday. Gary throws Leah in the door and bolts. Amber has Leah help her bake pink cupcakes and blows out the candle.
Now for our touching, sepia-colored montage. We get to see the evolution of Amber’s couch divot.
And Dalis and Ryan discovering a new way to get Bentley over to Maci’s without having to see her.
Thanks a lot for making me cry, MTV.
Goodbye to our loveable babies and puppies, sayonara to the Farrah/Maci broods, and a long, hug good luck to Cate and Ty.
