Mama Mia gets left in the dust by the bulls but they still get their clue. They must now make their way to Genteng Kali Bridge and search for your next clue. They arrive and read the clue, “Who likes to party?” An Andrew W.K. roadblock?! No, a pedal powered amusement park called the a-dong-a-dong and they must give for children a ride. Only in Indonesia can you get away with giving four children a ride on your a-dong-a-dong. While pedaling they have to make balloon animals for all the kids, then they get their next clue.
That lIttle girl next to Phil is so cute!!! We hope our Lil’ C grows up to be that cute, and that good at giving out AR clues.
Cluety Cutie
Team Amy picks her four kids. She counts one, two, three, four. And the fifth kid is out of luck. The gigantic fat kid.
Don’t worry parents, Team Dong loves kids. FNL finishes first. They are on their way to Wijaya Motor Shop for their next clue.
Ice by the Pound! Deliver giant blocks of ice. Or Fish by the Barrel, stock fresh fish at a fish market. Friday Night Lights picks ice because they’ve got the clear eyes and full hearts for the job. They can’t lose. Twin N’s go with fish. We want to like Twin N’s, but they yell so much which makes it impossible! Shut the hell up so we can root for you!
All the teams are onto the detour except Team Tall & Tiny. Gary can’t make the balloon animals. He is shaking and sweating and it’ss freaking us out! It looks like when Fran went into labor, only a smidge less bloody. Will is screaming at him, “Take deep breaths! JUST RELAX!!!!” Apparently that’s Will when he’s calm. Yikes. No wonder his only friend is an eighth of his size. By the way, did someone teach all these teams to make balloon animals and then edit it out? Or are they all just amazingly and naturally skilled at it? I tried to make a balloon animal once. It didn’t work out and we had to put it down. Now my balloon animal lives at a farm upstate and can just run and run and blow hot air out all day long.
Geez Gary, go easy on that hot dog!
Twin N’s are rocking out that fish challenge. Most other teams are in cabs looking for the Wijaya Motor Shop and having no luck. They are finding the WIjaya Tire Shop, Wijaya Brothers, Wijaya Nail Salon, Wijaya Fried Chicken, Wijaya Adult Movies, Wijaya Farm & Feed, Wijaya’s Big Boy and it goes on and on. It’s like the lady with the abacus all over again. Team Dong and Choke Out find it and chose the ice. Team Tall & Tiny finally finish. They are so uncomfortable to watch! Its like of Mice and Men. I really hope Will doesn’t start petting Gary.
If you like it, spread it!:

Is it just me, or does the guy on Team Amy (I won’t even bother giving him a name) look like the type of guy who would crash on your couch “for one night” and still be there six months later?
That has to be the quickest Philimination of one of my ponies ever.
I have a love/hate relationship with the TwinNs. You can’t not like them, because they’re so damn excited and happy and nice, but they need to tone it the hell down.
Right now I’m having a hate/hate relationship with Team “I’ll call him George” (that would be Tall and Tiny). So, they freak out about stupid balloons, practically give up every time things get bad, but then can’t be bothered to run to the finish or seem to care about the race. And these are the people teaching kids. You know what they say: “Those who can’t do, go on the Amazing Race and whine about balloons”
Other than that, I can’t think of anyone else this season. Seriously, they’re all blanding together (and yes, I spelled it that way intentionally). I’m sure someone will show up eventually. But for now, the Philiminations have no impact on me.
Is it just me or does the guy on team Amy look like T.J Lavins long lost cousin? Thats all I could think while looking at him 0-o
@JJB – (read you comment, scroll back up the page) OMG, that is perfect.
Did anyone else get annoyed with Team Amy Amy’s veneer lisp? I always hate it when a team comes in last simply because of a cab driver but I guess that is a huge part of this race.
Do they plan out the whole race before they cast the racers? Or the other way around? It will be interesting to see if they go to India this season.
That kid next to Phil was wickedly cute, she should travel around with Phil the whole time and do that.
I like the idea of the cutie kid traveling around with Phil.
You can call Jaymes and James Team Dong but they’ll be Team Delicious to me.
Uh, team Tall and Tiny seem like a “couple” to me. I’m saying that because of the way they interact with each other. That’s not how you behave when you’re with a friend; that’s how you behave when you’re with your lover.
Drat. Didn’t expect my favorite team to be gone so soon. Darned incompetent taxi drivers!
@Jimbob Jones, your portmanteau “blanding together” is the perfect description of the remaining racers.
I’m sure I’ll find SOMEone to care about, but right now I could not care less. I DO care about your wonderful recaps, Fran and Berry, and will continue to eagerly await them every week.
@carol,she probably talks that way because she’s deaf in one ear.Hearing impairments very often affect your ability to speak correctly.
I was sad to see them go,esp. because of the bad taxi driver luck.I liked them.I think Amy is an incredibly inspirational person.
Totally agree about that little girl.OMG she is just too adorable.
@Jimbob: Totally agree the contestants are “blanding” in this season. Snore. We need at least one (but preferably two) teams we can all hate on. Makes the show more interesting.
I’m sure I’m just delusional (or conspiracy nutso)…but…the first thing that popped into my head when Team Amy got eliminated was that something was were afoot (no pun intended). Shenanigans? Could Amy have done every crazy-ass stunt/amazing feat/physical freakshow that AR usually puts them up to? What if they have some super cool new shit to foist upon the contestants, but knew Amy couldn’t have done them?
A planned out/planted/cab driver/actor? Hmmmm.
