   WOOHOO!! So glad you’re back, VA!!

   If Jonna needs money so bad, maybe she shouldn’t go out of the country for 2 months and get a REAL JOB.

   Can’t wait for this fight! I side w/ Dustin. Don’t even need to hear what happened. I think from the “This season” previews, it showed Zach and Frank on a balcony, yelling mean things at Dustin.

   I don’t think it’s far to think that your problems are any different than mine Jonna. I need the money just like you do. How do you know other cast masts aren’t burden with other financial issues also? Why do you NEED the money more? You could have stayed home and I don’t know got a JOB like the rest of us young, able bodied people.

   Nothing chaps my ass like someone who makes their problems bigger than others.

   Yay, you’re back VA!

   One thing I noticed at the very beginning of the episode…not sure if anyone else picked up on it. During the “previously on the challenge” they flashed back to Jonna on the phone and said she “broke up with her ____ boyfriend”. I rewound and listened to it again and to me it sounded like “live-in”….at least as best as I could tell. That would explain A LOT about the homelessness, etc. I still don’t feel bad for her, if she broke up with her live-in boyfriend for some dude she just met…but it makes more sense why she would still be homeless. She lost all her shit with that weird breakup 2 years ago, and being Jonna just moved right on the next dude (most likely living off of him and not buying furniture, etc. of her own). Just a theory…but I like it Particularly since all the other girls showed a ton of dislike for her (Devyn saying “Jonna is homeless because she is hoetic” just about made my night!). All the pieces just seem to fit together to me…

   Am I the only one that was hoping with all my might that CJ would beat Zach? It was soooooooo awesome seeing him get his ass kicked by a dude that much smaller than he is. Nothing against Sam, but I can’t stand the other 3 San Diego cast members (Frank, Zach and the upside down mop (props to you for that nickname VA! )). If Zach and Sam lost that probably would mean that Frank and Ashley wouldn’t last much longer. As it is, I imagine those f*ckers are probably going to win the whole thing. Without CJ, Cancun isn’t going to last long. If it’s true Dustin gets kicked off (which someone mentioned in the comments last week), that means Brooklyn will be the only other 4 person team. There is no way Chet and JD are much of a threat against Zach and Frank in a final challenge.

   I don’t know jerseyj, do you really think San Diego could win the whole thing? Frank and zach are such douche bags when the pressures on, like in that log comp. but I guess you’re right, if Brooklyn still has devyn and Dj, they’re probably never going to make it. God I hate all these potential winners. I keep running scenarios through my head and they’re all terrible.

   I know she has a strong following, but I despise Sara. Outright loathe. She just seems like the kind of person who always has to be right and feels like she’s owed something. I can’t fully explain it. Maybe she just reminds me of someone I knew growing up.

   Also did anyone catch Jonna trying to stir things up by saying that CJ was implying that Jasmine had no shot in the Arena whole trying to get out of going in. That was a pretty messed up and pathetic move by her.

   I feel like jonna gets through life via manipulation. Men, bar tending, and it was just another day for her manipulating her teammates so the end result was in her favor. But people like that generally get their comeuppance, hence the homelessness.

She lives in West Hollywood according to her twitter which is probably a good indication that she’s trying to find a rich guy to take care of her so she doesn’t have to get a grown up job.     I was wondering why the losers even bothered trying…it seemed completely obvious that Brooklyn was going to throw the other in, no matter what. Why would they throw in teams they are allied with (or at least that aren’t fully against them)? Maybe San Diego wasn’t trying, since Ashley was the only one scarfing it down.

    While Jonna was obviously the stronger girl to go in against Sam, I see why she didn’t. And I think she was hoping that Derek would somehow slip in too. It makes way more sense for the 2 weaker players to go home when no combo has a chance of beating the other team. I laughed so hard when Trishelle called her trashy though…I mean, she is, but…has Trishelle met herself?

    I think San Diego has this in the bag, unless Vegas makes it to the final intact! Although I’m really unsure how Trishelle would perform in a final…she has come off as lazy this season. But, the rest of Vegas is stacked.

    There should be a rule against sob story contestants. What’s the point of even playing the game? Let’s all just roll over and give the money to the homeless hood rat. Ugh. Jonna was never my favorite, but I didn’t hate her. However, she dropped several notches in my book after this episode. And might I add, alleged “drag queen” Devon looked way hotter sporting an afro than alleged “hottest girl here” Jonna did last season.

    It hasn’t been confirmed yet if Dustin gets kicked off, but it sure looked like a straightforward punch to Stank’s face. In Challenge history, has anyone ever not been kicked off for punching someone?

    Frank is the human equivalent of a cow testicle, only cow testicles are probably easier to stomach.

    Jonna was living with the guy she dumped for Zach. That’s why she was suddenly homeless. Considering that this show is shot over maybe 3 weeks Her sob story came off really pathetic. Anyway she moved in with Derek after the show ended. This was all revealed over a twitter fight she had with some chick form the BGC who banged Zach before the challenge was taped and was getting salty over Jonna. Jonna ended up moving in with Zach but I dont think she is living with him anymore. Hopefully she finally got a real job and was able to get her own place.

    Jonna also claims that Jasmin wanted to go home and that is why she ended up going in. According to Jonna only the strongest should have stayed (which makes no since cause CJ was def stronger than Derek). Jasmine claims to not remember this discussion and has announced her retirement from the games. But this ep just shows why she has no real friends and definitely no real girlfriends. She pretty much talked crap about Jasmine all episode.

    And Frank still sucks.

    @PinkTop There was clearly a shot of Dustin skydiving as part of a challenge and I didn’t see anything that hinted at that happening int he next episode so he may not get kicked off. It looked more like he pie faced Frank instead of full on hitting him so maybe he’ll be ok. Of course in my view if the other person is being blatantly antagonistic as Frank seems to be, he deserves to get smacked in the face.

    Most of the original Tweets seem to have been deleted but from above you can get the gist. Actually Jonna was pretty level headed through it. Cause Danni was going hard calling her a skank and talking about her being homeless and saying Zach was cheating on her. Jonna pretty much told her she wasn’t worried about it cause Zach hit it and quit it so she needed to get over herself.

    Most of Jonna’s struggle was the fact that she was put in foster care then adopted and kicked out at 18. I’ve never heard of any abuse or anything like that though

    @gypsy, I was gonna say…didnt she sleep with LeRoy too? Or was that the other spongebob twin, Gabi? I could never tell them apart…one was fatter but I never remember which. Either way, ewwwwwwww. Zach is hot (although he was never attractive to me because of his personality), but after Jonna and Dani I wouldn’t touch that with a 10 foot pole while wearing a hazmat suit!

    I guess I can comment on the toothbrush scandal, but I don’t know anything outside of what you’ve all been posting here in the comments. I’m not in any way affiliated with anything. (I think Bunim-Murray owns the ‘Gasm, or something, which is why I can’t comment in the recap.) Personally, I wouldn’t be surprised if it was true, because I distinctly remember the Douche Trio being at their absolute worst during that Challenge. The stuff that was shown on TV was pretty fucked up, so I can’t even imagine what had to be cut. Bananas was a jackass before that, but I liked Kenny and Evan up until that season. Then they were such assholes that I had to start hating them.

    Too funny about all the Jonna stuff. I don’t watch BGC, so I don’t know anything about that. I guess it’s hard growing up in foster care to learn how to form healthy, long-lasting relationships. I’m sure some kids do, but plenty of them don’t. And yes, I also heard the previously as Jonna broke up with her LIVE-IN boyfriend. She does not make brilliant decisions.

    Love Dustin, hate Frank, dislike Zach. So Dustin would have to do something pretty fucked up for me not to take his side, which I highly doubt will happen. And I don’t think he gets kicked off (good point about the skydiving clip Ed!), I think someone just commented that they hope he doesn’t. I honestly think, at least to some extent, Frank is baiting people, HOPING someone will punch him in the face. That way he has at least 2 fewer opponents, AND he gets to act like the victim even though he deserves a goddamn punch in the face.

    I really hope no one gets kicked off for hitting anyone. It seems to happen almost every season and I would love, just once, for that to not be a factor. Plus when they send people home, it can shorten the season if they don’t get replacements. I’ve been wondering how they’re going to handle this season, though. They could potentially have more than 3 teams in the final if some of them are teams of 2.

    As for Sarah, I’ve pretty much always liked her, in case you couldn’t tell. I can understand why people find her annoying, though. This is her sixth straight Challenge, she’s been on every season since she was on Real World. And I do think she takes these things wayyy too seriously. But I think she’s been a fantastic leader for Team Brooklyn. She should be, since she practically has more Challenge experience than everyone else left on this season combined.

    Ok, that’s enough for now, I have a ton of work to do. But I’ll probably have more to say later!

    Speaking of replacements and getting kicked off did anyone notice Zach bleeding in the Arena? Didn’t the send Zito home last challenge for slipping and falling and cutting his kneww cap?

    Zach’s blood was gushing everyhwere and all over his shirt after the battle. Seems like a double standard from season to season b/c Zach is bringing more drama. Unless it’s b/c they were in two different countries outside the US with different health codes which is a much more boring reason.

    Just remembered that when VA said no one has been sent home yet outside of losing their challenges.

    @gypsy, I’m pretty sure Dustin was seriously injured. He needed stitches and I think I remember them saying they could see the bone (his kneecap). It seems to be a case by case analysis by the medical/legal teams that determine whether someone can continue to compete. Zach had a pretty disgusting scrape on his arm, but it looked mainly like a wide batch of skin that got scraped off, rather than a really deep cut. I was actually surprised that they allowed him to compete with him openly bleeding and no bandage though. There’s so much potential for disease there…I’d be very hesitant if I were CJ in that instance (particularly since Zach was screwing sleazy Jonna). However, I feel like I remember reading somewhere that MTV makes them get tested for STDs before the show starts…so it’s at least a little better (although anything they got in the few months prior to taping probably wouldn’t have shown up yet).

    I remember how devastated Sarah was when she got sent home because her partner f-ed up a few challenges ago. As much as I would LOVE to see Frank get decked out, I don’t want anyone to go home for it, expecially since it would be 2 people who totally didn’t deserve to go home.
    I love Sarah. I think, yes, she does take this shit seriously, but at this point, she has to. She’s becoming the next Paula (where she just keeps competing and never winning money). I want her to win. She tries so hard. I’d much rather watch someone actually put in effort than just manipulate their way into the final.
    Does it bug anyone else that all teams in the finale get a pay out? I think it’s bullshit. I think the 3rd place team should get nothing. Otherwise, all they have to worry about it making it to the top 3. I’d be super pissed if San Diego wins the whole thing, but honestly, I don’t know who could take Zach out. MAYBE Alton, but that’s a stretch at best. If Frank doesn’t go into the next Arena they get thrown into, Zach should be the one to punch him the face.
    Oh, and yes, Jonna is a dumbass who sucks at making decisions. Agreed.

    So, as embarrassing as it is to admit that I know this – it was Gabi who was (is?) with Leroy, not Dani. Dani probably met Zach through Gabi/Leroy. I always thought Dani was prettier than Gabi on that season.

    Dani (spongebob twin) is actually on Love Games this season, she definately lost weight and looks much better, same shitty personality. @Liz – can you refresh my memory on who the girl was that is involved with the toothbrush incident? I remember you and I having discussions on it last year, but I can’t remember which girl was involved. I’ve gone back and watched a few challenges that I had missed and I just finished watching The Ruins, which was Sarah’s first challenge and OMG Kenny was such a scumbag to her the whole time.

    Yeah she was a hot mess on that Challenge. She was with that Johnny guy from Survivor who claimed his Nana died to win. She wasn’t at the best place in her life. I think VH1 or MTV did a show on reality stars and she was a prime example of how your life can fall apart after these show but no one, no one deserves to get slapped in the face (which I believe Evan did to her and the alleged toothbrush incident.) Just wrong.

    I would LOVE IF ZACH mollywhomped Frank! Would Sam and Asheley get to stay?

    Tonya was basically a drunkard on every challenge. She is the original blonde psycho, then Walnuts came along and took the title.

    Badger – It doesn’t bother me that the final 3 teams get $. I think they started that a few seasons ago to ensure all 3 of the final teams finished the last challenge. Usually the third place team said “fuck it” because there was nothing for them to gain.

    I am so sad to hear Leroy has traveled down the skank path! I wonder what our dear MikeMike is up to?!?

    Gyp – If Zach hit Frank, I think Sam and Ashley would be sent home too. In the ARENA, there’s always a guy and girl competing, and some teams only have one girl left, so it’s not like it could be 4 girls competing.

I happened to pick to watch the Ruins cause it was free on Amazon Prime, bonus finding out that ended up being the season that the “incident” happened on. I read that she took a settlement from MTV and it never ended up in court. I’m totally on the fence about the whole thing – I wasn’t before, until MTV came up with some cash to make it go away….

    I’m no fan of Tonya’s but a court battle would have totally dragged her through the mud. We only see of her behavior what MTV airs, but I would imagine it’s just the tip of the ice berg and she wouldn’t want all of her dirty laundry aired.

I totally agree, I am old enough to remember her season of the RW and she was a mess then, had some sugar daddy type and medical bills up the wahzoo and was modelling or something for money. Tonya and whatever atty against the MTV machine would have destroyed that woman’s life and whatever credibility and dignity she has left. I hate that it went down like that but someone advised her well IMO to take the money…she would be hurting a lot more if she went to trial.
