Dustin is angry, but Alton tells him to be “enlightened.” Dustin asks if Alton would go home for her (meaning Trishelle), and Alton says he’ll go in there and do what he can to hype her up.
Hey, remember when Alton was the problem? What was that, maybe 3 episodes ago?
Robb and Marie are pissed as hell and don’t even want to bother dragging the boat across the finish line, but eventually they do. Robb could not be less interested in giving the obligatory post-race interview. Teej pointlessly gathers everyone for the announcements, despite the fact that everyone already knows the winners and losers.
Back at the house, Dustin tells Trishelle that she’s going in no matter what. “Physical, endurance, strategy, mental. Trishelle, Trishelle, Trishelle, Trishelle.” Trishelle is telling Dustin to leave her alone, while poor Alton is trying to tell her to “harness that energy” so they can go into the ARENA and win. As Dustin continues to give her shit, Trishelle requests that he please stop speaking to her in that tone, young man.
Yes, Trishelle will only be treated with the utmost respect.
Teej gathers everyone for the announcements. Zach is the speaker for Team SD, and he jokes that they wanted to send themselves, since they’re pretty comfortable there at this point, “but Frank wanted a rest, so…”
Look at this guy, with the jokes!
Anyway, the foregone conclusion of SD choosing LV comes to pass. They don’t even pretend to bother to discuss it or give us the courtesy of a commercial break to manufacture suspense. Zach claims it’s based on performance, which Nany calls out as bullshit from the safety of the confessional. That would be a stupid strategy. You should want the weakest opposing teams in the final, as has been and will be discussed many times on every season of this show. Oh, and they will be facing off in the Endurance challenge.
The moon… sets? Fireworks go off, and brace yourselves for the fight you’ve all been waiting for. Nany claims that if she leaves the game, it will be with her “integrity,” whatever these fools think that means. Then she says Derek is not a friend, he’s a bitch. How, I do not know, because we have seen Derek say exactly three sentences this entire season, none of which were to or about Nany. That’s barely even an exaggeration.
Somehow Frank decides this is his problem, and he starts yelling at Nany for no reason other than the fact that something is happening in the house that does not revolve around him. Then, hilariously, Frank confessionals that “Nany’s got nothing but a need for attention, that’s all it is. I’m sorry, but when you don’t act like a lady, you’re gonna get berated, because you’re being a fat <bleepbleep>.” “Fucking bitch” is probably what he said.
Yes, Frank, some people just need ALL THE ATTENTION. I can’t possibly imagine how ANNOYING it must be to deal with someone like that.
