Brooklyn and Fresh Meat are up first. Chet informs us that “Everybody’s freaking out. Devyn doesn’t want to get her weave wet, I don’t want to fall and skewer my penis.” Is that second one really one of the most likely outcomes here? Devyn says they’re communicating well and were never this nice to each other during the four months they lived together.
Fresh Meat is ahead of Brooklyn at the halfway point, and Cara Maria is excited, but Big Easy needs a rest. And then…
Poor Easy takes another hard fall.
Brooklyn manages to finish, while Fresh Meat is pretty frustrated. And, the thing is, Big Easy seems like a really awesome person, and I’m so proud of him for losing so much weight and working so hard to get himself healthier, but the fact is that he probably isn’t ever going to be able to properly rock these challenges.
New Orleans vs. Saint Thomas. A few of the team members are pretty scared of the heights, and time runs out when they’re both barely past the halfway point. But they made it further than Fresh Meat, so they’re safe from last place. San Diego, Cancun, and Vegas all manage to finish, but it sounded like all four teams that finished got a one minute warning, so it seems like the times should be quite close.
Winner announcements. Fresh Meat lost, obviously. The top two times were Cancun and Vegas. Does anyone else miss when we got to hear everyone’s times? I liked knowing how each team did. But anyway, this time it has once again come down to Cancun and Vegas. And the winner is…
Yay! (Enjoy this moment of happiness and team unity.)
CJ is happy because his alliance won, but he doesn’t have to decide who to send in. Dustin tells us that winning the challenge was the easy part, and making the decision will be the tough part. Trishelle brings up Brooklyn, and Alton immediately brings up New Orleans. Trishelle thankfully points out that they need to keep NOLA around because they’re weak.
WTF? Where did Alton get a plate of watermelon? Where are the other teams? Does the winning team get their own private ride home? So many questions.
Nany wants her team to keep working well together, and Dustin decides that when they get back to the house they’ll talk to the two teams and deliberate. So the girls talk to New Orleans and the guys talk to Brooklyn, each talking to the team they already don’t want to send in as if it’s going to change someone’s mind.
Nany says Alton’s relationship is messing up the politics she and Trishelle are running. Sarah doesn’t understand why the guys are letting the girls run everything. Maybe because the guys are busy rocking the challenges and talking the girls through them, and because the politics the girls are running are working out pretty well so far?
