During the final round each girl is asked the same question though neither girl can hear the other’s response. Romeo wants to know what the most impressive thing each girl has done for love. Lisa tells him that she took a previous boyfriend to Jamaica while Angeliese says she flew from LA to Boston just to spend a few hours with a guy she was dating. He is given 10 seconds to decide who he wants to take on a date and he chooses Lisa which is actually a good idea because he’s rather short. He ends up being just about the same height as her in heels. She was cute enough and I think Angeliese might have been too much woman for him.

That’s not who he picked…
Jeremy asks each girl what the most adventurous thing is that they have done and Elizabeth says that she never wanted to sky dive before but if he wanted to then she would do it too. Yea jump out of a plane just to appease a guy…smart idea! Rachael says that doing this show has been the craziest thing she has ever done but she is glad she put herself out there for the world to see. I want to hate her but she’s so…Taylor Swift. You know how you want to punch the bitch in her squinty face but she just seems so harmless and weak that you have to rethink it? That’s Rachael and that is who Jeremy picks…because she looks like Taylor Swift. Question though…Jason was dating Jessica Lowndes as of May so when was this show taped? Someone might be in the dog house!

Jason and super tall Nia
Jason wants to know what the girls would prescribe if he came to them with a broken heart. Nia, who is the only black contestant (and gorgeous btw), says that she would give him a little coffee for his cream. Get it? Cat laughs and points out that Nia was so nervous but then she busts out that ho answer. Annapurna says that she would give him lots of chocolate which immediately has everyone laughing because of what Nia answered. Annapurna tries to continue and say they would take an adventure somewhere to pick his spirits up but I think she meant she’d give him some of whatever drugs she is on. Jason picks Nia which is hilarious because she has about a foot and a half over him in the height department.
I have to point out that after selecting their final girl the guys then return to their seats which we get glimpses of during the show. Romeo and Jeremy each are sitting in the chair and making their girls stand to the right hand side of them. Seriously? Production couldn’t set up better seating arrangements or the guy’s couldn’t be more gentleman-like and give up their little chair? Sweetie Jason, however, lets Nia sit down which I thought was so Shawn Brady of him!

It turned into a talent competition and no one told Cat.
Pauly is next and he asks if it is possible for men and women to just be friends. Elyse says that it is possible if you have trust in your relationship. You know…she reminds me of a happier version of Sammi. Like if Sammi actually smiled she would look like Elyse. Donna, who I forgot to mention is probably my second favorite girl after Vanessa, answers that you don’t fall in love with every single person you meet so of course it is possible. Pauly picks Elyse because she is more of his type which I figured he was going for her since he saw her. She really does look like the other skanks he picks up on Jersey Shore and you know how well those relationships all lasted. I felt bad for Donna who was super cute and exotic since she never stood a chance against a Jersey looking girl. Elyse on the other hand is a dummy because Pauly didn’t even know her name when he was vying against Romeo for her.

If you like it, spread it!:

I’m confused. At which point do the chairs turn around? And if two of the guys turn around for the same girl, does she get to pick which of them she’d rather go out with, or rather, which guy’s team she will be on?
Also, a few more screenshots of the girls would be nice.. So many names, not enough faces. (Maybe shots of the guy’s final picks? Or the good ones that got away, like Vanessa.) We wanna snark on man-faces, too! lol
Is it possible to include a bit of backstory on the D-listers, or rather, their claim to fame. I know of Pauly D (tanorexic and AXEddicted), (Lil) Romeo (Dad worth $350 million – gangsta rapper-turned-businessman- who was smart enough to put his son on Nickelodeon rather than in the studio) but the other two, not so much. Off to google..
This show was terrible, I didn’t even watch until the end and so didn’t care who they picked.
I only tried it because Cat Deeley was the host but even show couldn’t make it watchable.
The Choice, according to the blurb Fox put on Google “features the world’s most eligible celebrities competing to find true love from among a group of attractive singles…they can’t see.”
Really? At least they didn’t say “famous” celebs, since celebrities is pushing the definition.
Pauly D pushes my idea of celeb, and he is the most recognizable. Yikes.
In response to sarcasatire and blog writer… Yes, if more than one contestant picks you then you pick the one you want. I had the choice between Pauly D and Romeo. I chose Romeo because he is nice and sincere and I don’t go for cheese balls from Jersey who play girls like a banjo… Was hysterical when Pauly was asked to describe himself in 3 words and he named “trustworthy” as one! Hello are you kidding me? As if the whole whole world has seen his douchy playboy antics. Absolutely not my style! I agree i am a little too much woman for Romeo and hold no biterness he did not choose me. lisa was super sweet, beautiful and a good pick for him. And the show was so much fun! Sarcasatire, if you want to see more about me check out my twitter @angelieseadams or my website angeliese.com. To the author, thanks you for the post! Agree with most of your observations completely!
Hey Angeliese Thank you for responding! I do have a question if you check this again but did you know beforehand who the guys were or was it just hey show up and that was that? I kind of knew that you were going with him because Pauly is a joke and I think we all know that…
Jason did ask for a prescription for a broken heart. I will give him the benefit of the doubt that maybe Jessica had broken his heart the week he taped the show. I knew he was too good to be true with the lines he used on Nia but he was smooth against the competition like an experienced playboy. I like those handsome East Coat Italian men but I would have picked Romeo from the Southern gangster side of the country.
