For some reason, slurring Sonja brings up the toaster oven photo shoot. Things get a little heated between Heather and Ramona. Is there anyone that cares about this toaster oven? It isn’t like she designed a car that runs on hydrogen or something. Even less appealing for a story line is a photo shoot for an appliance. Oh for the love of Time New Roman, Sonja starts arguing that Heather showed up with two fonts. It’s hard to know which is more ridiculous with Sonja–the sex talk or the toaster oven. If someone doesn’t change the subject, it’s eventually going to turn to her having sex with the toaster oven.
Lu walks away and Carole pulls Ramona aside, leaving Heather and Sonja to finish the conversation. After Sonja brings up James and the lunch friends comment, it seems clear that Sonja’s mostly pissed that James didn’t hit on her or take her seriously. Sonja’s mad that Heather told her to meet the hot logo guy, but he’s gay. Heather lets her know that James isn’t gay, he isn’t into Sonja.
Away from the table, Lu, Carole, and Ramona talk about Sonja having had too much to drink. Next, Cool Cat Carole is going to meet Russ, but Ramona isn’t welcome to tag along.
Ramona acts the calmest she’s ever been when she meets Russ. Surprisingly, she listened to Carole. Oh wait, no she didn’t. Ramona is doing so well until she starts going on and on about adoring Carole, that she more than adores Carole. It’s a little awkward, considering she’s engaged to Sonja.
How many boxes of wine have they consumed?
Sonja didn’t get the memo, so she acts like herself. She’s sloppy and flirting with Russ, then moves on to how hot and sexy Carole is. Russ jokingly asks Sonja if they’re competing for Carole. It’s getting to be a little too much.
Lu realizes nothing good is going to come of it, so she drags Sonja with her to figure out how to use the espresso machine. Sonja does know all about appliances, after all. Sonja moves onto the butler, and Carole and Russ move on to their time alone.
Don’t worry. The vet gave me a flea and tick dip.
The next morning, the ladies head to the beach. Ramona’s in her bikini and raring to go. Ramona asks Carole if Russ is still there and how much she wants Mary-O. She goes on and on about how it was supposed to be a girls trip and she should call Mary-O to tag along. It seems rude to complain about Russ stopping by after dinner since Carole invited everyone to join her and she doesn’t see Russ very often. Carole speaks up that she’s around their husbands all of the time without complaining, so shut up. Sonja backs her up.
