And welcome to the Southern Living Dolls Out of This World pageant being held “in a galaxy far, far away in the land of glitz.” Toddlers & Tiaras, where are your Emmys?
One of the intergalactic competitors now.
Pageant Director Chasity Saunders is dressed as a glitzy alien with deely-boppers around her head as she tells us that when it comes to glitz, “South Georgia is where it’s at.” True, Georgia does provide T&T with a lot of fodder, I will give you that. And immediately we get an example straight from Chasity:
“Not North Georgia, South Georgia,” she says. When did they split the state? I mean, did that really work for the Dakotas? The Carolinas?
Credibility? Solid.
She says they did a space theme to be different (I will give them that – it’s sort of a cool idea) and that they will show the glitz world what space is all about. Oh, come on, Chasity, this is in Georgia. This is a state full of people who believe in UFOs but that the moon landing was a hoax!
First up in Dallas, Georgia, a cat licks its hoo-haa on a sunny porch and we meet our brat of the episode, Bella, 2, and her delusiona parents. Mom Juliet calls her daughter a “loose cannon” and laughs like that is something funny and safe.
Kitty porn! Call J-Mo.
Bella is an energetic kid who as her mother tells us while laughing, has been kicked out of 4 daycares because of biting. Holy shit! And how many daycares could they possibly have left in Dallas, Georgia, population 12,000? And also, why haven’t you taught your daughter NOT to bite? Doesn’t that seem like something a parent would do, you know, versus laughing about it?
Who is going to remind her of the comma eyebrow rule, you or me?
“If she wants something she finds a way to get it and usually she bites,” her mother says. I don’t think I’d have the patience for that, but I love some of the ideas Gasmii commenters gave – biting back and the tabasco sauce ones are my fav. You could get that tobacco that is made from Guatemalan insanity peppers and use that one. That’ll learn ‘em!
Not how it works in the ocean, let me assure you.
Bella is actually a really cute baby – she totally has a round face and cherubic bright pink cheeks. Sadly, all I can focus on are her chompers and I’m praying she totally takes off the tip of someone’s finger during the show. She does laugh like she’s insane, though.
Cute, but you can just feel what is coming.
If you like it, spread it!:

Technically, “Out of This World-Wear” was outfit of choice, too. So I guess that’s where the sailor outfit came in.
I have said this once and I’ll say it again…I’m SO glad I did not sign with Blake’s agency. Now I think I know why he called me back…I look like I’m 12. He probably thought I could be a pageant queen. Gross. He was so interested in signing me…at least, before I told him I was actually 18 and not 12.
I thought Ava was such a cutie! But Jayla…hm. I felt bad because it really seemed like she was completely miserable. Either she’s extremely camera-shy, she hates pageants, or she really just has the personality of a bamboo stick. My dog has more personality than she does…
Oh dear god, Honey Boo-Boo. Let me just say, I will not be watching her show. I get enough headaches and craziness from T&T! I didn’t really like her episode anyway…
Great recap as per usual, Crabby!!!!!
DearCrabby, Before I continue reading, could you please help with a quick question.
On page 7, do you know if Ava’s dress is frowning at me, or is that just a manifestation of the pageant monster?
honey boo boo child!!!! i’ll be watching her show..and if i ever see her i’ll give her a dollar and make her holla!!! cant be any worse then eden wood and her ex-e-team that broke up..the red head heather and mommy got in a fight over copy rights of eden..i also heard another child from t&t is getting a show!!
time to call super nanny!!!!
@BedHeadJen…yes, I believe the dress has a face! I didn’t even see that until you mentioned it!
@Alice – great gossip…do you think Schparkle and Heather had a lover’s quarrel? Heeeeee.
I haven’t had a chance to read the minicap or the full cap, and I just had the chance to watch the episode. But I have to say – if I was about that pageant and I heard that little shit snot about the scoresheets, my behind would be staying there THE ENTIRE TIME until they were all ready to leave and I’d be first in line for those damn score sheets. If I wasn’t in jail for kicking that tool bag in his pretty little face.
And depending on how pissed I was, I may have kept my overly tired child with me and for once let them run wild and bratty because those people deserved it. I’m sure those people in the pageant played a lot of money to be there. Sorry that whole “TOP AGENT” think didn’t work out for you Sonny, but you deserve the beat down of a lifetime.
Thanks DC, I’m relieved to know you see it too, and I think I have a perfectly logical explaination.
After the E-team breakup, FSL swapped her makeup brush for a sewing needle.
Ava’s dress isn’t haunted by the pageant monster, it’s a design from the Frownie Collection by Fransolonely Cutabitch, equally scary pageant sew hag.
Did anyone else notice that the voice over for Ava’s “I’ll save you judges” was Braxton and Alaska’s mum’s voice? She does mixing for pageant music and often when I am watching a T&T episode I will hear the same thing in the background and can’t help but laugh….there isn’t any Hollywood sound mixing techniques going on Darien, GA.
The photo with the ‘mothership’ was a little mean but I almost spat out my drink haha. When I watched that girl in the episode I had a similar reaction to when the hicks on my big redneck vacation saw the man on the paddle boat (it’s on YouTube) “h-o-l-y-s-h-i-t”
In defense of Belle, she did not appear bratty to me. She is two and acted like a two year old. Two year olds are too young to perform on command. They can be real hams and do all kinds of cute “moves”, but if they don’t feel like it that day, forget it!
for the love of the shambrow, can’t these women get their eyebrows normal?
When Bella fell off the couch as hard as she did and the way she landed on her right leg, I was sure that she would break it. Glad she didn’t, but I wonder if her delusiona parents would have put her in the pageant anyway. And as someone who used to suffer from ear infections as a kid and from swimmer’s ear as an adult, let me tell you – they can be incredibly painful. At 2-year-olds don’t understand why they are in such pain. Her parents were absolutely wrong to put her in a pageant when she was suffering from one.
Honey Boo Boo looks like she dropped some chub. Maybe the “Mother Ship” found it and put it on.
Jayla seemed so very, very sad to me, not just disengaged but really sad.
The discrepancy between Jayla’s on and off stage personality was disturbing. What an odd child. She performed great on stage, but if her offstage personality is truly what she is like on a day-to-day basis then I’d be worried. I would love to hear from someone who knows her personally. Maybe she was just camera shy?
I found it funny how, when Bella’s dad was on stage with her Juliet was complaining that he was “holding her wrong”, but when SHE was on stage with her for wow wear she was holding her exactly the same way!
Wasn’t that Paisley in the Princess Lea getup? Must have been uncomfortable for Blake, since she apparently is now with Eden’s agent!
I can’t help feel that the whole late issue/confrontation with the lady and Bella’s dad was staged. It was just too coincidental that while getting hair/makeup done Juliet asks about the lineup and they are told not to worry, and then all hell breaks loose.
I hope noone picks on poor Jayla for having to go to the bathroom urgently. I know the feeling. After a one hour drive from our nearest city everyone in our car knows to stay out of my way because I need to be first into the doghouse! It also happens to me just before I have to go on stage, or see water, or go into the frozen food section of the supermarket, or bounce on a trampoline…….
I’m sure other girls out there have their own stories.
I wonder how many people went and collected their score sheets at midnight. I would have woken up Blake to get them.
WHY do so many of these parents seem to think their children’s bad behavior (like BITING) is funny and/or cute? or write it off as “personality”? seriously, it makes me so mad that these people are even allowed to raise children when there are totally fit would-be parents struggling to conceive. i think anyone these people are “cutting out” as friends because they “can’t accept” their activities doesn’t give a s**t about their activities and just wants nothing to do with them. do these people EVER read the pageants’ rules??? not that the assistant wasn’t being a jerk, but still … if she was technically going by the rules, then too bad.
also, wtf is with that crap about not wanting a female president before bella (because you know she is soooo going to be that)? are these people going to go around telling everyone they know (and probably don’t know) not to vote for any female candidates for the next 35+ years so bella can be first? you so know they are. this entire family is insane and i hope they go ahead and file some frivolous suits so they and their slew of lawyers gets bitched out by some (hopefully sassy) judge.
i’m honestly not sure whose personality is less existent: andrea’s or jayla’s. they both seem like they bore themselves into an almost-coma. i loved that the pageant director referred to her as having “a little personality,” though. that bathroom emergency was absolutely hilarious, but how the hell is a sailor “out of this world”?
ava layne is adorable and i actually liked her family. which, yeah, makes for boring tv.
We are still ruled by the Queen here so could someone explain why it would take Bella 35+ years to be President? I know she is only 2 but even with going to college etc. could’nt she do it in 25+ years.
@Bluedog you have to be at least 35 to be president.
Our youngest one was JFK who I think was in his early 40s.
Is that because men are mature at 35?
Poor Jayla, with her dishrag personality it was quite obvious she HATES pageants. Get a clue, Mom. Ava is a little doll, I though she did a great job. As for Bella, oh my, give me 5 minutes with her and she will bite no more. why oh why do these parents think BRAT means Diva, personality, blah blah
Your kid is a fucking brat! Wake up!
@Bluedog Men mature! Really?
I think jayla was just camera shy. When she was talking to her family or whoever after crowning she seemed like a sweet, normal little girl. It was just when she was supposed to “perform” specifically for the cameras. I thought she was adorable even when she was a little dull.
That Bella was pretty cute too, minus the biting. My kid is almost two and if she bit me it would be just the one time. Nip that in the bud. I just don’t think kids that age should be in pageants, they are too little to understand and too big to be a puppet.
I loved when Bella’s dad kept saying that “something stinks” and there they were in a middle school gym. No kidding, everything stinks. I mean, I know he was referring to his delusional, paranoid, conspiracy theories, but it cracked me up anyway.
If anything, I think it was clear jayla loves pageants– she may not love anything else (like breathing, having a pulse, etc) but pageants? A kid who hates them isn’t going to come to life on stage like she did.
I agree P-g.
I’m glad I’m not the only one who was thoroughly disturbed by Jayla, it was painful to watch her. I can’t tell of she’s the most boring kid in the world or suicidally depressed… Often we snark about dim bulb children, but Jayla was so devoid of actual emotion that I can’t help but wonder if there isn’t something very wrong with her. Also, I would think she is old enough to accurately assess whether or not she needs to use a restroom. Maybe that plays into some sort of disability?
I know I’m not supposed to laugh when I child is hurt, but I laughed so fucking hard when the little cannibal fell off the sofa. Notice how mom glanced at the camera while comforting her? Mayhaps mama wanted to make sure we saw how nurturing she is?
Dammit@Penny, I laughed out loud then looked around to see if anyone saw me…teehee little cannibal.
It’s not a successful day if I don’t mock a child for a strangers benefit…now we’ve both won.
I don’t think anything is wrong with Jayla. I just think she has an extreme case of camera shyness. I was the same way at her age. I was bubbly and outgoing, but you stick a camera in my face and I just clammed up.
I don’t think Jayla hates pageants. After she got her crown, she ran up to her mom and said “I want to do another one!”
I agree with the pageant people, Jayla was edited to look like a total dud so they could contrast it with her stage presence. I think she just was a little camera shy. She had no problems on stage. You can’t fake that kind of performance.
Ok weighing in on this with the camera shy Jayla
I think it was editing. Hate to burst anyone’s bubbles. But when you have three can lights, two cameras, and 7 people staring at you, trust me you FREEZE right up. And, this is the mom talking, lol. Poor kids, they didn’t know how to act the first couple times they were supposed to talk infront of the cameras. I am sure that the editors had a field day! We spent close to 15 hours filming in our house and they used a whole 10 minutes? Thankfully we got some of the better time used, that poor family…not so much!
I think I might have camped out for those scores just to prove a point. Again, with filming, we weren’t even done until 10 at night when the pageant ended at 6, so what would have been another 2 hour wait? I might have been the only sick one to actually laugh when Blake said “Good luck with that” because I might have blurted out the same thing. He was probably thinking “WTF?” when the director or Hitler-like assistant told him that.
Bella’s Mother of the Year admitted that she put her toddler on stage to complete while having an ear infection severe enough that the eardrum burst. What kind of monster does that to her child? She shouldn’t have been at the pageant, she should have been at the doctor.
I’m not buying the “teething” thing either. Every child teethes but they don’t behave in a way that gets them kicked out for four(!) preschools.
I also don’t buy that they were set up to look like they were late, I think they were late and were blaming it on everyone else but themselves. I’m on Team Unbendable Bitch. The father has a history of aggressive behavior (why HE hasn’t been kicked out is beyond me) and I don’t blame Unbendable Bitch for not answering his questions. He was getting pushy with her (some of his body language and attempts to invade her personal space was pretty scary) and I would have gotten as far away from him as possible too.
Here’s some gossip about him: “[Bella's] family was crazy I was with my daughter at the same pageant in her same group. The Emcee and lady working backstage called for them several times, then the father (bully) wanted to run over me and my child to get in line for group lineup. When asked to please wait until the stairs cleared out, the father lost it and showed his behind. What a sad mess! It ruined our day and scared my 2 yr old to pieces. I love pageants but I do not think we will be at one where they are filming again!”
I see where Bella gets her anti-social biting behavior – probably from her dad.
He’s angry, aggressive, physically pushy and shows his private parts around children. This is someone who should not be around pageants or other children at all.
As for the host being snarky, don’t blame him either. If I had to deal with an excuse-making psycho family I’d be at the end of my rope and telling them to “have fun with” picking up scores at midnight too. Probably with an armed police officer nearby in case the dad got violent.
Bella didn’t do as bad as they showed. We watched filming, and they only showed some of her on stage. Here are the actual pageant pics. Wish they would have shown her rock OOC!

We know Bella and her parents from many pageants. What the episode didn’t tell you is Miss Bella had JUST turned 24 months, and that her biting issues happened from age 12 months to 18 months. Juliet took her to see a behavior therapist and got the biting under control. And I read the article that was posted. Bella had just been at a national pageant the weekend before, Friday, Sat and Sunday 10 hours away from home. Juliet thought that pageant and the one that was followed 8 hours away would be too much, and decided not to do it but got the call from TLC that they had been cast after auditioning. So, poor Bella drove 10 hours, had 3 days of pageant in TN, that she supremed at, drove 10 hours home, had camera crews and people in her hour following her around for two 10 hour days, got in the car and drove another 8 hours to wake up early to be followed and filmed. And that gorgeous dress was brand new and stiff, she couldn’t move her arms. The Baby was wore out. She went on to win national pageants, and supreme, even ultimate, bigger local pageants until she decided she wanted a break.
And, Bella has had ear issues and hearing issues from the ear issues since birth. She had tubes when she was tiny! Maybe 7 months . The parents had no clue that she had an ear infection when her ear drum burst, she showed no signs, fever, or pain until it burst on stage and took the tube out with it. It was in Jan of this year at the Diamond and Ice pageant by Galaxy Pageant Production. We were there and I know they took her straight to the hospital. Once again t and t edits things to sound worse than they are.
@PageantMafia, all I heard were the typical excuses pageants parents and friends spew after a show airs. Bella is a beautiful tiny terror, even if her biting problem happened months ago…her mother should have made the statement as if she were proud of it. Her family should have not gone on to encourage the biting, esp on NATIONAL TV and expect not to be judged. I find it hard to believe she had no signs of distress before the alleged ear drum bursting. It was quite obvious her dress was new and stiff, but it doesn’t explain why her parents held her in such uncomfortable positions which impeded her natural movements. Most of us realize the pageant lineformer(?) was being unreasonable, Bella should have been able to take her place in line.
pageantmafia – who gives a shit
Red Rabbit if it is true that he’s a “flasher” why hasn’t a complaint been made to the police?
@pageantmafia – Bella’s family could have said no to any of those pageants and to TLC. Bad parenting.
I doubt he is a flasher. He is a corp Lawyer in Atlanta. Someone is just starting rumors.
@PageantMafia, your story just gets better. If he were a lawyer why didn’t he say “well I am a lawyer” instead of saying “I have a ton/a lot lawyers”?
@redrabbit “He’s angry, aggressive, physically pushy and shows his private parts around children.”
Huh? What are you talking about? This is a really dangerous accusation to make unless you have proof. And if you do, tell DCF and the cops, not the gasmi.
@mscool – absolutely agree. You know these people have seen this show and yet they are drawn to like a fat person to butter. They don’t have to say the things they do, whether they get a ‘bad’ edit or not.
“Showing his/her behind” is a slang term that means acting completely unhinged. It doesn’t mean he literally showed his behind. I would think if an adult male dropped his drawers in front of a bunch of little girls, someone would have called the cops or at least kicked him out.
I don’t think Jayla had to pee. That was the look of abject terror that only comes when you’ve got to take the browns to the super bowl, if you know what I mean.
And, yeah, New York’s #1 talent scout really needs to be slapped in the smug little face. “So…good luck with that.” Good luck eating all your meals through a straw, jerk.
@bumblebee – yes I understand that. But redrabbit said “He’s angry, aggressive, physically pushy and shows his private parts around children.”
That’s a whole ‘nother thing.
As much as tlc loves to edit this show for maximum craziness, if he had actually mooned small children, I am pretty sure they’d have shown it (blurred out), or at least mentioned it. I don’t know chasity, and we’ve never done one of her pageants, but I am also very sure that no director would have let him stay another second in the building.
@pageantmafia,,, are you Bella’s parents.. if not you sure do know alot about these people to not be them.. just saying!
Talkit– I tend to agree. When people who “know the family” get very defensive on this site, I am usually suspicious. And regardless, it’s not an excuse anyway– Bella’s parents could have skipped the other pageant. They could have said “no thanks” to tlc. They could have, oh, I don’t know, not announced on national tv that their parenting is so horrendous it caused their BABY to be expelled from FOUR daycares! Mr. Bella could have– acted like a normal human being on camera? Considered switching to decaf? Something.
@pageant-grandma.. I agree.. he was and is an idiot.. and also I sure would not have told TLC that my child got kicked out of 4 daycares.. she looks like a damn fool. That child is cute but a stinkin brat. If she bit me I would bite her back.. I have children and thats what stopped mine.
I know she was coaching from the audience, but Juliet looked like a complete idiot with her ‘sleepy’ pose and that fists-bunched-up-under-the-chin thing. And during ‘Purple People Eater’, she manipulated that kid like a puppet. And I’m glad the host was snarky; Bella’s dad deserved it. Pushy is one thing; violent and threatening is quite another!
1) I stand by my source.
2) The people who appear on this show, put on these kind of pageants, and those who defend them are not good arbiters of appropriate behavior. They’re dressing up children like southern fried whores and parading them around like horesemeat at an auction. Not healthy at all.
First if all….. Jayla loves pageants more than any of the things she competes in ( dance, pageants, and gymnastics) and she has won many many awards in all 3. we have tried to get her to stop because she does so much (she also does modeling)and she says she will stop when she fills her entire pageant room with trophies, which will take a while to fill an entire room.
Second…. NO NO NO!!! She is not that shy!!! She is a perfectionist!!! She was sooo afraid of saying something she thought would be wrong in front of the camera, she decided saying and doing less would be better. For all of you that have called her strange, dead, lifeless, odd or anything else…SHAME ON YOU to talk about a child like that!!!
Next… She did not wear a sailor outfit for out if this world wear….. That’s not out of this world, I’m not an idiot!! She wore that for her outfit of choice wear. Btw… Her ootww was the bomb!! When she had to pee( not poop as someone seems to think) it happened during that time. They never show all 3 categories of the competition, there’s not enough time.
Jayla is one of the most talented, dedicated, hard working little girls I have ever known. She sets a goal for herself and she will do all it takes to be the best at it. I can’t make her be that way nor change her to anything different!!! She has new goals ahead of her that she has already set, some very challenging ones that will take years to perfect and accomplish but I have no doubt in my mind that as much of a perfectionist she is and how hard she is willing to work to achieve her goals (not mine) she will go far in life…. Much farther than any of you who decide to sit here and comment on terrible articles about kids!!!
One more thing….. I didn’t force her to go on stage after her accident…. Unfortunately tv like to edit a lot!! She was crying back stage because she didn’t think they would let her go back up there and her own goal was to get grand supreme. I told her that if that was her goal, then she should go back up there like nothing had ever happened and do her routine like she always does. Guess what… She did, and she achieved her goal!! Jayla is one of the sweetest most kind hearted children I know but can also be one of the most hard headed and stubborn people I know. If she didn’t want to do something, there is no way in this world you could make her do it….. That’s really a quality that I hope stays with her for ever!! She will always stand up for what she believes in, no matte how bad you would like her to do or believe something different.
Thank you to those of you who know what it is like for a 7 yr old to have lots of cameras and strange people around them all at once asking a million questions for hours and hours for two days straight!! To those who could hardly watch and think that she has a disability, or mental/suicidal issues, kiss my ass!! I’m shocked at the things grown people say about kids.. She is in no way shape or form any of that!! She is a straight A student and has more talent than you could ever dream of having!! When you gotta go, you gotta go!!! Period!!!
Took you a while to get here Andrea.
Well, I was bored and thought I would look at what all the idiots in this world had to say about 3 little girls. Needless to say, it irritated me just like I thought it would.
Andrea– breathe. Welcome to tvgasm! If you stick around (nearly everyone has move on to the recap of last night’s episode, so you might be better off joining us there), you may come to like the place if you keep a few thigs in mind: first and most importantly, this is a snark site. That’s what we do here. If snark offends you, you will do yourself and your blood pressure a big favor by just staying away. Second, we are snarling on the show, as it was presented post-edit. We are not snarking on what really happened, the interviews we didn’t see, or the 90% of the routine they cut out to make it look like your kid did nothing on stage. We do know the show is edited, and most of us suspected that jayla was edited to come off as a dead fish. Really, not much criticism was levied against jayla here at all. Anyway, welcome.
Thanks PG – yes, Andrea, I think most people thought Jayla was just camera shy because when she didn’t realize she was being taped, she seemed fine. And I still think you’d be fun to have a beer with (along with some of the pageant directors)! Hope you stick around!
I would like to start by saying that my Husband is NOT a flasher. I would LOVE to see IPs for the person posting that. He is a capital investment manager in Atlanta with a clean record. The person posting should know that Toddlers and Tiaras does a full background check for everyone in the home before they are selected. He works for a major Atlanta company, and works with the in house attorneys in assisting and testifying in court cases on repoed properties as an expert witness.. That is where the I have a slew of Lawyers comment came from, and in the heat of the moment, I know I would say a lot worse.
As for the biting comment, it should have been followed with the info that we took her to a behavior therapist, to make sure the biting was not pageant related, as in her needing to have attention
Like she got in pageants in everyday life. I also explained that the biting happened from ages 12-18 months. Our behavior therapist said a lot of kids under 2 get frustrated because they can not verbalize their frustrations and they bite for various reasons instead. We took her out of daycare, put her with a sitter, and started her in a speech and social play group called ” Banies are Talking” for a few months. They taught her how to use words and sign language during play with other children. We were VERY on top of it. I was laughing about it because the ” she was kicked out of 4 daycares for biting” was followed with ” Daddy thought we were done at pageants” and I went on to explain that we took her to the behavior therapist.
As for her ear infection, Bella was plagued with ear infections as an infant. She had surgery to put tubes in at 9 months and never had another ear infection. The day of the pageant she wasn’t running a fever, and seemed fine until she went on stage. Her ear drum ruptured and took the tube out with it. We left and took her to urgent care. They have followed her since then waiting for it to be all the way closed to put the tube back in. I would never put a sick child on stage. If we knew she was sick, we would have never let her leave the house.
As far as how she did on stage, I wasn’t as happy with beauty as I could have been. She was rushed and Dad was a little stressed and upset and I think that had something to do with it. They didn’t show all of her on stage. She did a lot more than they showed. They cut her Mickey Mouse OOC totally out, and she rocked that and shoved me off stage. Purple people eater they showed the start and end, but not her doing the middle, alone, not like a puppet. They also couldn’t play her actual music because of copyright. It was Alvin and the chimpmunks purple people eater for over a minute and then switched to the time warp. We were doing the time warp together, and the audience and the judges were laughing. It wasn’t as bad as they showed. The judges were talking about her Mickey Mouse OOC that she shoved me off stage for, not purple people eater, and I didn’t want to leave the stage because Bella was just 25 months at the time and I didn’t want her falling off. The titles were beauty plus 1 event. Purple people was tossed so it was her Mickey and Beauty. And, like the last few episodes of T and T, scores were crossed off and changed. When I said on my exit interview that she did all her moves, I was talking about the parts that were cut. I’m not that much of an idiot to say that about the parts in the show. Bella went on to win a ton of big titles after this was filmed. Then in June she decided she hated pageants and just wanted to do gymnastics. We never would force her to do anything she hated, so she is taking a break and doing gymnastics instead. Her biting issue isn’t an issue, her ears are fine, and she starts per school part time next month.
Oh, and, Bella was 25 months, and had a camera shoved in her face, with a ton of strange people, lighting set up in her house, a mic belt, and she was super wired. They film everything for 2 straight days in your house. We normally don’t let her jump on the sofa, and I agree she was being a brat, but Dad and I were both afraid of yelling at her or spanking her behind with camera filming everything, I’m sure they would have loved that! She finally was so sick of it, she took her quad outside to ride and didn’t want to come in when I asked her.
They cut out 20 hours of her being sweet, singing twinkle twinkle little star, petting her kitty, and showing her moves! Also cut out her and Daddy going to get nails done together. What I’m more scared of then all the Internet comments, is bumping into our nail ladies that were bragging for months that they were going to be on TV!
@Juliet, just FYI, we’ve all moved past this episode and are making fun of other people now (feel free to join us on the newest recap!) Also, we are not new to the whole T&T thing, we know that the shows are edited to show people in the worst and most hilarious light…but YOU should have known that too. The show isn’t popular because it shows well-mannered, smart people who have got their shit together…when they do, the show is a bit of a snooze.
Oh, and I’d like to finish by saying that I’m glad to hear your husband is not a flasher as I’m sure we were all soooo concerned. Hope you don’t introduce him at cocktail parties like that, though.
Easy with the tweezers, too, sister. Thanks for stopping by!
LOL! I wish I tweezed! My best friend plucked my eye brows in 1990 and they never grew back in. I don’t have much to work with!
Tweezers can be very Dangerous to teenage girls!
A “Behavioral Specialist” for biting?????
I have always used the “bite back” tactic and it always worked for my kids.
The first time my oldest son bit me he was 2 years old. He bit my foot and I grabbed his foot and bit him just enough for him to feel the discomfort and he never bit anyone again. Easy as that. Now he is a successful college student.
@ karen
biting children = non successful non college graduates?
lolol.. ( just playing, hehe)
i do have to agree with pageant grandma..
i automatically assume on sections for comments
that there’s gonna be snark.
dont take it to heart.
i will also go on to say, that as a former pageant kid, its not that i hated it… i loved the pageants
themselves.. REALLY loved it..
but was the by-product of the pageants that made me miserable.
i just ended up with a huge people pleasing
complex that ive needed years of therapy to
overcome…
i wish i could have spent my childhood like
the other kids.. not worrying about whether my
mom would be passively disappointed if i didnt
do perfect.
thats all.
now’s the part where we all chime in with
“oh no.. not MY child…”
