Tonight’s Top 10 Shows: Monday, September 24

Watercooler

****Please welcome your newest Top 10 Shows writer, the hilarious and handsome JalleyToCali!!

Monday, September 24

“Cut out all these exclamation points.  An exclamation point is like laughing at your own joke.”  -F. Scott Fitzgerald (september 24, 1896 – December 21, 1940)

Like SuburBint and NWMTV before me, I’m here to tackle the Top 10 shows of the night.  Here’s to keeping this winning tradition going.  Let’s do this!  (Sorry Scotty, someone has to laugh)

The Voice (8PM, NBC)  Blind Auditions Continue

Not to be outdone, American Idol will start holding deaf auditions.

It’s how they chose their judging panel, right?

How I Met Your Mother (8PM, CBS)  Ted recounts a story about leaving a note for Victoria’s ex-fiance in hope of calming Robin, who is anxious on her and Barney’s wedding day.

“Dad, are we going to eat today?  You’ve been telling this story for over 60 hours.”

Dancing with the Stars: All Stars (8PM, ABC)  Former champions and fan favorites return to compete;  each couple performs the Cha Cha or the Foxtrot.

Turned down Teen Mom All Stars to be here.

Bones (8PM, FOX)  A powerful divorce lawyer with a lot of enemies is murdered;  the three month separation between Booth and Brennan starts to take its toll.

After a three month battle, Booth fights off his biggest enemy yet, blue balls.

Trust me, there’s a bone in there.

Basketball Wives LA (8PM, VH1)  Jackie’s wedding plans and new tattoo raise eyebrows;  Draya and Jackie’s friendship is tested.

This show was better when it was called Keeping Up With The Kardashians.  (Side note: I love that sleeping with NBA benchwarmers is enough to make you pseudo-famous in this country.  Sets the bar nice and high for young girls when they grow up.)

Wouldn’t be the first time someone got a questionable tattoo.

Real Housewives of NYC (9PM, Bravo)  Aviva’s father comes back to town;  Sonja wants to take further legal action against her ex-husband;  Heather has a special request for Aviva.

Always good when you get to see the people responsible for making these Charming, Unique, Natural, Talented Socialites.

The face of a good friend.

2 Broke Girls (9PM, CBS)  Max accompanies Caroline on a trip to a white-collar prison to see Caroline’s father, who encourages them to make a purchase at the Channing estate auction.

“Hey honey, you know how I ruined your life by running a Ponzi scheme and now you have to work at a restaurant and save every penny to make something of your life?  Well, I think you should take some of that money and go buy some random stuff at an estate auction.  Why wouldn’t you listen to me I’m great with money.”

Mike & Molly (9:30PM, CBS)  The honeymoon inspires Mike to change his life and travel;  Molly worries how their loved ones managed without them.

For one, there’s more food on the table.  As for Mike’s travels, don’t go to Bruges.

Unless you grew up on a farm and are retarded.

Hawaii Five-O (10PM, CBS)  Following the murder of an important family member, the team searches for Delano and Wo Fat.

I’m taking it they didn’t attend the funeral.

Revolution (10PM, NBC)  When Miles and the gang realize they need help rescuing Danny, they search for Nora, a rebel fighter;  Danny learns what Capt. Neville is capable of.

As long as the Captain brings his Remembrall.

Did I leave off your favorite show?  Leave your comments on how I did below or abuse me on Twitter (@JalleyToCali).  That’s what it was created for.  Until tomorrow, I’m going back to the couch.

Born in New York, went to school in Boston and now living in San Diego.  I got a degree in Engineering only to basically abandon it and now attempting to be a screenwriter, trying to make money any way I can on the way.  As a long time fan of TVGasm, I'm excited to be a part of the team and here to make you guys laugh.

@JalleyToCali, you had me at F. Scott Fitzgerald. I was missing these Top 10 postings, and I’m so happy they found someone with a suitably wicked wit. Welcome. (Arrgh, doing without exclamation points is haaaaarrrrrrdddd — said, of course, in a high, whiny voice.)

You left off the series premier of “Partners” on CBS at 8:30!! I went to the taping of the second episode and it is BRILLIANT! by the writers of Will & Grace (and it’s obvious too– a lot of the same humor). Really funny and a really great and grateful group of actors. CHECK IT OUT! :)

Thanks for the warm welcome guys.

@Val, that’s a pretty cool coincidence that it is National Punctuation Day. I didn’t even realize that when I picked the quote

@lovesthehobbitses I’ll have to look into Partners, I didn’t know much about it when I saw it on the listings. It’s hard getting the list down to 10 and get everyone’s favorites, I’m trying to get a nice variety on there every night. Maybe I can post honorable mentions on Twitter whenever I miss someone’s shows. Thanks for bringing some attention to it.
